I think this was on another thread about how some of the last wishes of some of the kids are forcing The Make a Wish Foundation into bankruptcy, but did want to pass on a happier note. Today is opening season for baseball, and i am watching the Mariners game. There was an 11 yr old that his wish was to meet the baseball team. He got to be the first one out this season to run the bases and have two the players meet him at home plate.

Make a Wish is good people. I do a fundraiser bike run for them every year.

I didn't think it was for real and also checked snopes yesterday, but found nothing. I'm glad you found the truth. Unlimited wishes just didn't sound right.I'm glad to hear this wonderful foundation is ok.

I was surprised at the number of people that actually thought that was true. Just looking at the video with the byline across the bottom saying "best outcome would be escalation of child's disease" was enough to tip anyone off.
