Welcome to the forum Mr. Howard.
You have no account with this company? If you are sure of this then perhaps you should dispute the items with the credit reporting bureaus. |

Loss of home due to Wilshire Employee misconduct
I lost my home in 2006 due to an employee at Wilshire who was vindictive, nasty and impossible to deal with. After many months of sending my payments by Western Union, I called one day to see if I could be two days late. I had signed a paper stating that my payment would be on a certain date true, but sometines you just can't do that. She had never been anything but nasty, difficult, and rude to me so I asked that someone else be assigned my account and taled to a fellow named "Kevin" who said that would be all right. The next day I wired my payment and she promptly put in the computer for my payments not to be taken anymore and through me into foreclosure. She did not have the authority to do this, but she did anyway. I lost the home my mother left me because this person (I am trying to remember her name, I never thought I would forget it) was hateful, nasty and downright nasty enough to do this to me. I keep thinking that someday she will pay for her actions, and I hope I am made aware of it when she is. The account number was 337499. I lost my home and if it had not been for the kindness of my brother would have been homeless. I hope something dreadful happens to her.

Wilshire Credit
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
Can someone who is reading this and having seen all the problems with Wilshire Credit please post a blog so we may able to collect all the people's names and stories for proper filing of a lawsuit? My husband and I are just plain, middle class people who work hard and try to do right but we have worked for a long time and I won't let a company like Wilshire Credit destroy our lives as they have others. Please someone out there who is smarter than me about opening some kind of computer webpage about Wilshire Credit please help us so we can band together against this company. |

Wilshire Credit
When it comes to Wilshire Credit, DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING THEY SAY OR DO. They will stab you in the back. Their purpose it to try to SQUEEZE as much money out of you they can, any way they can!!! Their CEO's fully well know what is going on so that "informing them" route won't work. They are "in bed" with big business.
Every employee who works there has their own "department/title" so when you call and are connected with a person with a title just wait because when you call again you will talk to another person with a different title. I have spoken with so many departments there I have lost track. Just remember that Wilshire doesn't lend money. it services loans or I should say it TRIES to service loans. You, me and everyone else on this site have most likely never signed anything authorizing or knowing that Wilshire was the servicer of our loan. I am anxiously waiting for the day they come tumbling down. Wilshire employees (especially employees with families) better start walking before they all end up with subpeonas because they are KNOWINGLY DOING WRONG!!! It will all fall sooner or later, Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch, Capital Investments/Consultants/Wilshire Credit and the biggest and baddest of all New Century Mortgage who knew what they were doing and are still to this day reaping the rewards of all this. They may have thought they had their paper trail covered but it looks like they were wrong. All it takes is a lot of manhours and an investigative spirit to follow the money. |

Retaliation or Informing?
After posting 2-3 informationals on your site about Wilshire Credit and how bad they are all of a sudden TODAY I received a pamphlet in the mail from Wilshire (Wilshire envelope) showing what they are and what they do. No letter, only a pamphlet of the Wilshire Privacy Policy. Don't know who sent it or for what reason but it must have been sent in regard to one of my postings on your site. Now inside the pamphlet they highlited line that states "Where permitted and appropriate we may also share personal information with our affiliates". They have copies of our W-2's, check stubs, bank statements, tax returns and now are showing me that this information can be shared? How's this for retaliation? Especially against a consumer? Now I have no idea where our personal information may end up.

Short Sales with Wilshire of Beaverton Oregon
I was recently relocated from Washington State to Florida, My relocation company will buy the Washington property at fair market value which just so happens to be more then what the original loan was. The relocation company did get an offer from a private party however at closing Wilshire had added an absorbanant amount of fees and late payments etc making the closing impossible to happen. The buyers walked. The relocation company is still offering the offered price through short sale but Wilshire will not return calls or take calls in regards to the offer. I have submitted all the papers required for the shortsale however Wilshire has tagged my phone number to go to a loan officer's voice mail which never calls me back. I have received several certified letters of foreclosure but Wilshire will not get off their butts to make this short sale happen. Several Wilshire representative have said that the shortsale offer was a good one comparatively. So, I wonder am I being scammed in some way so that my house will go into foreclosure and Wilshire will come out on top through Govt help? or what can I do about this? I have been calling Wilshire daily for 5 months and am no further at this point then I was when I started (Interest still growing). My wife wants me to hire a realestate Attorney, but I don't know if or what my case would be. Anybody else have this same experience? Need help soon!!!

I am also dealing with Wilshire in regards to my loan. I was and am frustrated with how they deal with things, however you have to have a plan of attack. This is my house and I am doing all I can to save it. The following items might help you in your endeavor.
1. If you are behind and they keep bugging you for payment, ask to be transferred to the Loan Modification department. You can call the loan modification people at (88 2. Listen very carefully to everyone you speak with. They are not allowed to say certain things, but they may give you some tips you can use. 3. You will still be on their automated call system from the collection people. Always answer or return their calls. If you don’t they may proceed further in the foreclosure process. You need to show good faith in trying to work something out. If you are working with a person in the modification department ask the collection people to transfer you to them as it helps for you speak to the same person every time. They will get very familiar with your situation and might be able to show a little compassion. (it is worth a shot) 4. Make sure when you fill out your financial form you include all of your expenses that you pay in a month. Make sure you let them know if your car is a piece of junk and you need $100 a month to keep it running, put it in. Anything necessary for you to live no matter how small. It is hard to go back and say I forgot. (this prolongs the process) This is one of the most important steps, you need to show that you can’t afford the payment. Spend time and be thorough with this step 5. You don’t have to be pressured into taking the first offer. Understand the a forbearance (only a temporary fix) is not a loan modification. They will not consider a loan modification until you have 3 current payments. When you receive your offer call them immediately and tell them that you can’t come up with the down payment and need to negotiate further. 6. If you have back taxes, go to the county and ask them if they will help you catch up. (you can find information on County websites) Some have programs (mine did) with 20% of the past due down you can make payments for up to 5 years. You have to stay current with your taxes in order for this agreement to stay in tact. You do not want them to add this to your loan or you will now be paying interest (at a ridiculous rate) for a period of time. Try and find out what is available in your area ASAP. In order to make your plan work you need to know all the rules. 7. Lastly, the government is putting many programs out there to help homeowners. They are putting them out so fast that a lot of details are being missed. Look into every program available and see if you qualify. Talk to FHA loan officers as they seem to be the ones putting out the loans. You need to do the work and dig these things up. HOPE for HOMEOWNERS came from the “Housing Reform Act of 2008†You can find information on HUD website. I will try (in the near future) and put up some links that I found. 8. Good luck and stay diligent in your efforts. Time spent whining (I did it for a while) about these people is time you could use to save your house. 9. I am making progress but it takes time. Don’t be discouraged and let them take what is yours. 10. Destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice. These are my personal experiences and opinions only. I am just a home owner trying to save his house. I wanted to share my experiences with others who are scared and don't know where to turn. I hope it helps. Greg |

Answering the phone
I cannot get anyone to answer the phone to speak to a representative. I called four times yesterday and no one would answer the phone after I let it ring for an hour each time after I typed in my account number.

Wilshire Credit Corporations’ corrupt practice
I am writing this letter out of frustration dealing with my mortgage company. Five years ago, I refinance my home to a very bad loan. Accordingly within the last 2 years my payment has increased form $1245 to almost $2236. The interest rate on the loan rises from 5.5% to the current amount of 10%. I have been asking my mortgage company (Wilshire Credit Corp) to modify the loan for the last year and half but they are not willing to do so. The most frustrating part is it normally takes them 6 month to even get a response to the request, then I was told to bring more paper work and it will adjusted, it never did. Every week, I call them it is anther story form a new customer service representative. In the mean time, I have almost drained my 401k saving from the high of 30K to just under 4k. Now, I am three month behind and on the verge of being foreclosed. I still want to continue to live in the house, but it seems they are just trying to foreclose on me and my family. This is the wrest company I have ever dealt with you. I will join anyone for collective action against them: danielw63@hotmail.com

Wilshire Credit Corp.
We have had the misfortune of Wishire obtaining our mortgage after Novastar Mortgage company went out of business - odly enough just 1 month after we signed the papers. Wilshire has not cooperated with us in trying to seek a loan modification and employees have been vague and disinterested in helping. Promises for call backs never happen and we are getting nowhere. This plea for help goes back several months now. What recourse do we have?

Wilshire Increased My Mortgage Payment
My husband and I got 2 months behind on our mortgage payments with Wilshire. We've experienced some of the same things as a previous complainer: we've been paying this mortgage for 17 years and still owe Wilshire over $100,000 because of forbearances. They won't refinance. When I called in to make payment arranges, they increased my mortgage by $300 a month. How will this help us get back on track? Now, we're in deeper. After Katrina, they alleged wanting to work with us to help us get back into our home. Now that the home is livable (still some needed repairs) they don't seem to be as concerned. With the housing market the way it is and the fact that they probably would re-sell our home for dirt cheap, I believe it's senseless to push ifamilies this way. We've been through enough grief.
