As I stated in a previous post, I am climbing out of the payday loan trap. There is one that I can not find any information on, including an email or letter in my files with my account information.

I cant find them on the internet either! I have a feeling it was another name I applied to, but no contact info for Arrowhead.

I've heard BOTH 'sides' on this forum (please corret me if I'm wrong). Arrowhead Collections..are they a PDL company or a CA? I don't know if I'm 'clear' on which ones they are.

Thank you for this site and this information. I have a loan with Arrowhead (it is the last of the PDL's I have left!).

Thanks to you I now see that they are in violation of Alaskan law and will be faxing them a letter calling for an end to my loan contract with them. I have paid $810 on a $300 loan since December. Alaska has limits on loan charges and you can only extend the loan twice before it is to be paid off.

Thanks for the info and for giving me the courage to take these swindlers on!

Well I emailed a letter to them stating that they were in violation of state law and in less than an hour I got a reply stating that my loan was paid in full.

I have been getting the run around from them for months and now that the tables have turned they respond in less than an hour. That alone should tell you that they are less than legal in their practices. I would urge anyone who has a loan with them to check your local laws and see if they are in violation.

Hi I'm new at this so please someone help me out, I received a call from these collectors saying that I had to pay like $1150 of a $200 payday loan with JD Marketing and that if I did not settle they would go ahead and report me to my town police and have me arrested today, is this possible?
also the loan I stopped payments because I had already overpaid them and I did not have any phone number to call them.

I just wanted to thank you all for posting your comments, concerns and complaints about Arrowhead Financing. I just received a message from them to call them to finalize my payday loan. After reading your comments I will not be calling them back.

Thank you all so much.

You're in luck! As a backup, I wrote down a hard copy of the telephone contact information when I took out my loan with Arrowhead Investments (you're right, though; I can't find them on the Web either--think I originally got the contact information as "spam"). Anyhow, try:

1-866-355-7308

Presumably anyone can help you, but the one time I talked with her, Rachel explained the terms very clearly to me, and she is at:

Extension 128

Good luck! --Clifton T.

Sorry for the redundancy. I see that someone already gave you the contact information. Seems like "Arrowhead" is one of the national versions of what we have here in NC, where seemingly every small company is Carolina Furniture, Carolina Dairy, Carolina Moving and Storage, ad nauseum.--Clifton T.

my husband had a loan with arrowhead and it took us a year to get up with someone to pay it off. i asked all the questions, how much was the loan, how much did we pay, and how much to pay it off. then i asked for the address and his loan was paid in full immeditally. thank God for another blessing.

thank you for providing me with the number to call.

I just got a call from Financial Crime in Memphis TN about a payday loan which I got in November 2007. They told me that they would down load the information to the city where I live and have someone at my job to pick me up for the debt, which was only $200.00. I could resolve this matter out of court and it would cost me $600 and if I went to court it could cost me $2,000. Has anyone been contacted by this firm.

I recently received a loan from Arrowhead and I guess I should have read the agreement a little closer because I only borrowed 200.00 and I have paid them 120.00 in intrest in the past two weeks. I'm hoping to pay them the full amount at the first of the year but reading your blogs I think I have made a huge mistake by dealing with them

I got a loan through them a couple of months ago, they are taking 90.00 every two weeks. I found out they don't exist and the telephone number they have is disconnected. What can I do? Shall I have my bank to stop payment?

Hello everyone! I need someones, anyones help! I stupidly took out two payday loans out on the internet (im in florida)... with every intention to pay them back asap. I fell into some very hard and unfortunate situations that is leaving me in financial ruin. I do not contest that I owe them money, however, they have been so mean in their messages to me that I am afraid to even call them back. My state of mind right now cant handle those type of people! They are telling me that I must have more money than brains if I am going to let this debt go any further because I will end up paying alot more money ($1800 instead of $300 - this was payday loan yes telling me this) Arrowhead investments is contacting my supervisor, my hr department, calling my phone every day at work leaving nasty nasty messages. Please help... any advice?? :0(

I took a loan out with this company and several others. I got way over my head and closed my checking accout because I can not make these outrageous finance payments. I live In Pennsylvania. Can they take me to jail or garnish my wages? I think PDL's are prohibited in my state. Please help :)

This company is calling me saying I owe them $300 and there is a lawsuit out on me and my social security is on hold, whatever that means, but the thing is i did not get a payday loan from them, if anything I might have started to but I never went through with it and never got any money. They said this was back in 2007. I asked for proof and they said it is illegal to send me anything I need to pay it or go to court with an attorney. I don't knwo what to do, can someone help me?

they are lying to get you to pay.it appears as though even if you applied and got turned down they are harrasing you as well.they are notlegal in most states anyway.they are required to send you written details on request.i wouldn't talk to them further, and file AG complaints against them.

A Jeffrey Boyd called my daughter today and told her I had committed internet fraud by taking out a payday loan with Arrowhead Investments in her name and in order to keep me from being arrested she needed to provide them with her credit card number and security code and pay $600 by noon tomorrow. I contacted him and he threatened me with going to court and doing jail time but when I asked for documentation to be mailed to me he hung up. I called back several times and each time he would hang up on me mid conversation. I have had payday loans that are paid off but never with Arrowhead Investments. The scary part is that he has my SSN.

I took out a loan for 500. I have paid twice a month for a couple of months totally around 750 or so. Is there anyway to stop this without being sued. I have read the laws in my state of oklahoma but I don't really understand if they fall under those laws.
