Well, I've given up on this guy. He's a real piece of work. Here's our lates conversation:

No Ms. G, that is if you are in the state. Stop sending me these emails that mean nothing!! Those
laws are if you are in the state of Fl. We are not in the state of Fl. Do you think all the products in a store
have a license in every state to sell thing. NO they dont, they have a license in the state where their corp
office is. I am more knowledgable about the laws then you since this is my career. Again this is now a
dead issue and I am sending you account to an outside collection agency with a balance of $700.00.
There is no reason to reply to my email as this issue is dead.

Thank you

They added another $200 to my bill! Here's my response this morning:

You obviously don't realize the calamity of your argument. You say there are no laws in florida that state you don't have to be licensed, but clearly you must to do this type of business with residents here. You are only licensed in the state of Utah to do business there.
There are many class action suits against company's such as yours that have ruled in favor of the states their customers reside, and you know it.
You are felonious loan sharks, and this isssue is just the beginnning.
I have paid you well over the allowable interest rates for the state of florida, and you insist on adding additional illegal "fees" and "charges".
As you stated, you are not "selling things", but are issuing illegal loans with violations of every usury law in every state you loan in except for Utah where there are no caps on these types of loans, so you hide under that protection and license yourself there.
Your website has taken a swift turn in its declaration of states you do not loan in anymore, why is that?
The Attorney General's office and Department of Business and Professional Regulation's Criminal Division will enjoy these responses, and as I stated, your company will now be a part of the litigation as per my deposition given to them.
I gave you a chance to do the right thing.

This guy's an a$$...Anyone know a good attorney? I've had it with this!

This guy is a jerk! He means to say that he does not need any licensing in the state where the person resides. It shows that the company does not show any respect to the state laws. Take him to the court!! Moreover, you have paid additionally on the total loan amount so the company has to give you a complete breakdown before charging anything further.

Put a complaint at the local attorney general's office as well as the law enforcement agency. This issue has to be resolved accurately.

David,

I used to be scared of these companies but not anymore. I know I'm not as active on the boards as I used to be but I'm glad to see people fighting back. Most of us here have paid these loans ten times over and they just can't settle for that. Instead they lie, harass, and name call. It's ridiculous if you ask me. I'm going to be filing my own complaints against Cashnet. It's on my list of things to do within the next week or so. :?

I had my fill with cashnet already. I spent most of today researching them. I filed a complaint with the Utah BBB today against them. Although my loan has been paid off I feel it's a illegal enterprise and against my States "Small Loan" laws. (Massachusetts). I also filed a complaint with the Utah Department of Commerce.
All I'm looking for is a refund of the "Interest"
charged. They can keep the principal.
Last night I sent an Email to them requesting the refund, along with links to the Massachusetts general
laws.12:00pm today passed,no reply to the email! I sent another Email to them stating if I did not hear from them by the close of business today then I would have no choice but to file complaints with all of Utahs licencing agencies that are responsible for their "business!" Shortly after I sent the email I received Six Emails and Four phone calls. That alone told me I'm on the right track!

And the guy I talked to would talk real quiet and would keep saying,Shhh, shhh, shhh! And of course the rant about being held to Utah's Loan laws.

Whatever the case I am persuing these guys. The refund is not even important at this time. It is seeing them pay there due!

I will keep you guys posted!

I am in arbitration with another one!
