What is the SOL in PA for the enforcement of a judgment?

JCEMT,
Are you a debt counselor? Are you sure about this 4 year SOL on collecting a judgement?

So if a judgement was filed in 2001 in PA, the SOL is 4 years and has expired. Is it true that the debt collector can no longer take action to force collection of the debt? If the judgement was renew, would I have received notification? I haven't received any notification since the original judgement in 2001.

WARNING THERE Are a few scam going around ... If a collecter don't seem right ... hang up and start doing your homwork ... Anything over 6 years old on Cards ... most Judges will Toss them out !! better to goto Court then be SCAMED

every where i ve looked it says 4 years in Pa. Now that 4 years starts from the time the account first went delinquent. there is a pa court case it involved dell financial services. The judge ruled in the case that indeed the sol had expired in the 4 years. i couldnt find the link. I ve been in more than collection action than most. the negatives dont come off your credit report for 6 years after they first report a charge off i believe,so it is really like 7 years. expect to pay higher interest rate on all your loans and insurance good luck even getting a home loan now. 1 year ago my scores were around 600 now with all the negatives finally gone 780's own a house new car all with great interest rates.the past 7 years was hell, now i dont have to worry anymore:D
