I personally like Jews and appreciate all the contribution to humanity that they have done. We are really shocked to have been accused of anti semitism.

We received a 10 page letter from their law firm.

We have put the individual scanned images at:

We have posted the big pdf file (needs acrobat pdf reader) here at: http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/heathmill/demandletter.pdf

:(

You may also want to read:
http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/heathmill/
http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/heathmill-quetches.html

Any factual information about Cashtoday / Cash2day4u / Heathmill which would help protect DebtCC from their threat would be appreciated.

I know a lot of us might be scared of Cashtoday / Cash2day4u / Heathmill and their lawyers. I personally want to assure all of you that we will not give away any personal identifying information including your IP address to any one. They will need to take us to courts for that. If required we will go all the way to the supreme court to protect the identity of anyone volunteering any information.

WOW! I love the power of an IP addy! Though it is also on the side of scary! Ok, so is Anon's name Michael, and if you look at my IP addy, do you see my name? My company is quite large so that would not stress me out, but my name? I trust you folks, but that would make me leary about where I post my thoughts in cyber space.

No, it's whoever the IP is registered to, I think..

Like when I had AOL, it would come up as AOL in Virginia, I think because it would change all the time. But most companies are registered to their own.

Something like that...I'm not too smart on this technologies stuff...lol

FRFI 183 February/March 2005

Call-it capitalism

UK call centres now employ more people than the coal, steel and car industries combined with a growth in recent years that has exceeded all forecasts. In July 2000, the Financial Times reported that analysts Business Strategies expected employment in UK call centres to rise to 665,000 by 2008. By the first quarter of 2003, a Sector Skills Council survey estimated 867,000 call centre employees, a three-fold increase on 1998 figures.

Many telephone operators are paid less than the minimum wage before commission, in an industry where incidents of racism, abuse and summary dismissal are rife and rarely come before industrial tribunals. In January 2004, a Health and Safety Executive report compared some call centres to Victorian mills, with little trade union representation. Incomes Data Services, in its seventh annual report on the UK call centre industry, claims ???call centres without a recognised trade union now form a minority of the industry'. But their survey of 300 centres was largely confined to financial services, public sector and not-for-profit organisations with large inbound customer service call centres serving industries already benefiting from union representation.

But in the many small or medium-sized call centres to which large companies outsource their sales or marketing work, high staff turnover and lack of trade union representation leaves workers powerless to challenge often illegal practices and working conditions.

Even call centres serving industries with a strong history of union representation can face difficulty in securing recognition. More than half of the 466 staff at BSkyB's Livingston call centre signed a petition supporting broadcasting union Bectu. By the time balloting for recognition began, over 100 staff had joined the union. However, after management threatened to move the call centre abroad if Bectu won recognition only 47 employees voted in favour. At the FirstInfo railway call centre in Plymouth, posters advocating union recognition were removed from noticeboards. When management at a large broadcasting call centre such as BSkyB Livingston show such determination to scupper recognition, what hope is there for workers in smaller, less regulated call centres with no union involvement?

The guarantee of evening or weekend work close to home means that many single parents, students and others are economically conscripted into this type of work. Flexible working hours are a perceived benefit of call centre employment. In reality, the picture is varied. At one Plymouth call centre an employee was refused a transfer to the day shift so that he could spend time with his partner and child in the evening on the basis that ???absence makes the heart grow fonder'.
One call centre which does guarantee flexibility is Heathmill in north London, which pays commission only and allows staff to clock in and out at any time of the day or night. Potential staff are lured with the promise of 50% of commissions paid in cash at the end of each day on confirmed sales. Should confirmed sales cancel at a later stage, any commission paid is deducted from the employee's bank account at the close of the month.

One sales campaign involves calling the United States on behalf of a global pay advance loans company. Pay advance, or ???pay day', loans are a multi-billion dollar industry condemned by the Consumer Federation of America as ???legal loan sharking'. It is legal because you are charged an extortionate fee, rather than an excessive interest rate. The $200 loans sold from Heathmill's call centre cost an $89 fee on pay day after the first fortnight, a further $89 fee if repayment of the balance is deferred to the end of the next fortnight, and also a $35 ???membership fee'. So on a $200 loan taken over one month, $213 fees are deducted from the borrower's wage cheque ??? equivalent to an annual interest rate of 1278%. Using a casual workforce in a British call centre to sell loans to desperate people in the States shows how global capitalism uses the low paid to fleece the low paid.

stanley my concern wasn't about anybody on this website, but other websites I visit. I know that if someone runs my ip when I am at work it will say my company name, but it also says that, that I am about 300 miles away at our home office. I've been know to go to kkk and **** websites to debate and tell them how stupid I think they are lol. When I saw that the IP info had a real name attached to it, I thought oh shit, I better be careful the next time I tell a skin head that I think he is an inbred mouth breather and he can suck eggs!lol

Vikas - I could not be happier that you guys receive a referral fee. Otherwise this site would not be here, right? I don't think anybody has a problem with that. If it wasn't for this site, many of us would be lost in debt, with nowhere to turn. Not to mention, there are a few other credit forums out there, but they are so mean to new people, there is no way most people will learn there. So basically, I am saying THANK you Vikas, and to the whole staff, for having this site here.

Polly - that is a great article! Thanks for posting it :) Yep, googling "heathmill" leads you right here, it is hilarious!

I'm Kristy Welsh at creditinfocenter.com and I have been threatened numerous times about postings on my website, let alone my discussion boards.

These guys have nothing. What about free speech? They are crazy. Do they propose to extradict Vikas? Right. I'm sure Interpol wants to catch such a hardened criminal.

Take care, all will be well.

I called them today 3/27/2006 and they informed me that although I never received a loan from them that they have all rights to ACH debit my account with the information on file. I informed my bank, my police and FTC about them. I am getting the money back from my bank.

Keep in mind that they also portray themselves on the net as paydayselect.com but deny affiliation. Need my info? just ask and I will be happy to call you.

I knew this company was in full swing last year in calling people and making illegal money. Ellis Crosby and Sonic Payday were also on the roar that time. But now, nothing much is heard about them. I guess they must have found a new name of doing their illegal business to which we are not aware yet.

Heathmill were terrible employers. We used to have to phone poor Americans who filled out a loan form online. We would get paid about $12 per loan sold, whereas the poor sucker geting the $200 loan would have to pay the $200 plus an $80 fee by the time their next paycheck arrived. If they didnt they would have to pay another $80 fee plus the $280 by the time of their next paycheck. If you got paid weekly but could only pay the loan off in 1 month you'd have to pay ($280+$80+$80+$80). If we didnt make $400 in a month heathmill would fine us $100. If you complained about anything they would just fire you with no problem.

I am so glad I came across this site. I have been doing some research on this company after they came to our work place to offer free eye tests. The terrible experience I had is, it turns out, typical of all of the illegal practices this company, in its many forms, is responsible for providing. Last year, they came to our office park and we were given this fantastic talk by one of their reps about how simple and convenient it was to use them. I've never needed glasses but because the test was free and our HR people pushed signing up, I went ahead and got tested. The test itself was the only decent part, though the trailer they test is, a "Tardis" they stupdily call it, was freezing cold and wobbled every time someone moved. They told me I needed glasses and "bendable" frames. I told them I really didn't want any, but they must work on commission so they kept pressing on. Eventually, they badgered me into taking some sunglasses, which I was on the fence about, but they wouldn't let me leave until I'd signed a direct debit and sales agreement.A few days later, I saw the same pair cheaper at Vision Express and so I emailed my "Personal Manager" telling him I didn't want to proceed with my order. I didn't hear anyhting for a few weeks, so I didn' think much more of it. But then I started getting these ridiculous emails from "my glassess" telling me I needed to go collect them. I would also get constant emails stating I had a balance and needed to pay them. I would repeatedly respond to the emails but this only seemed to cause more emails to be sent out. And when I called them, they never answered the phone. After many many months of this, they finally stopped, but only because so many other people complained to our HR Director, that she contacted them and sorted the whole mess out. Needless to say, we're not having these amatures around again! I'd stay well away as they clearly don't know what they are doing and employ high pressure sales tactics to force people to buy things that they don't need. It sounds like they learned their illegal craft as Heathmill, taking money out of people's bank accounts and they are now moving on to UK consumers. Watch out people, once a crook, always a crook.

Classy as always, Eyecare's sister company, Bodycare International are, without permission, using Jade Goody's image to promote their extortionate "healthcare" testing service. Again, it's carried out on the illegally built trailers using old, used equipment which does not work, operated by untrained staff who used to work as cleaners at Bodycare's head office in Whetstone, London which is where you'll find Aaron Gershfield.

It is indeed sad to see so many postings by a few individuals who have worked with Aaron for any length of time and have decided to make false allegations because they have been kicked out of the company because they are useless.
Why would you work for the company for so long as many of you claim and all of sudden start thinking that it is a bad place to be...?!?!?!?
If it was a bad place to work why did they not quit sooner?!?!?!?!?
Just because they cannot become something and certainly cannot achieve anything in life some sick individuals have decided to kill time posting disgusting notes

As an insider working in Northway house I belong to the watcher group who have been compiling files and information on these shysters Aaron Gershfield, Ian Harries, Yogesh Bafna, Sandeep Chauhan, Stephanie Kleyman, Mark Gottlieb, Tim Johnson, Mark Osman, Ed Fraser, Loretta Pryor, Lorraine Coombes, all up to their necks in theft and deception. A trading history spanning 30 years has been sent to every bank they deal with , reports have gone to Revenue, Trading Standards, Fraud Squad, Watch dog, and may many more. they are going down with all hands and anyone who wants to avoid sinking with them would be advised to get out of Northway House ASAP as the banks are about to pull the plug and the place descended on by a multitude of officials. the last few years have not been pleasant but well worth the end result.

There is not anything legitimate about Eyecare International including the name itself as there’s nothing “international” about this company. It’s a completely misleading designation imposed by Gershfield himself to make things out to be larger than they are, much like his tiny 2 inch penis. In fact, Eyecare International is just the failed company Optical 21 re-branded.

Gershfield doesn’t care about health or people’s safety, the contempt and cavalier disregard he shows with his own employees’ health and safety (inadequate training, poor equipment, lack of PPE) makes this abundantly clear. Eyecare, like all of his other “businesses” is about money, plain and simple.

Aaron Gershfield is very much the puppet master pulling the strings behind Eyecare international and all the other illegal ventures. The “fact” that he may not be a director is irrelevant. In fact, he’s probably not a director because he was struck off from being a director. Now THAT’S a fact!

The scam, for those who are uninitiated, is as follows. Marketing Guru Gottlieb is sent to schmooze “Blue Chip” clients into allowing the dangerous trailers manned with untrained cleaning staff masquerading as health care professionals onto their premises. If the companies employees don’t sign up for the “free” tests, a head office bimbo (e.g., Tara) is sent down to drum up sales (yes, these are very much sales). Once the “Tardis” again, a seriously stupid name for the box on wheels arrives at the site (assuming it gets there and doesn’t a) break down, b) overturn on the motorway, c) get impounded by the Police, or d) all of the above), the poor employees are herded though like cattle. Each one is then given the hard sell for ridiculously overpriced spectacles using the phenomenally poor quality illegally marked Chinese frames. There’s another bimbo on site to tell the suckers they “look really good” in these atrocious frames. Then the employee is made to hand over their bank details and walk away having purchased something they don’t need or want without any idea of what they’ve spent.

The thing is, most of these sales are transacted illegally as no paperwork is provided to the customer, the terms of the credit are not stated, and there’s no mandatory cooling off period. And even where a customer tries to cancel an order, the lab will just ignore it and send the badly made frames regardless. Now here’s where the real fun starts. The customer will be paying for these items forever as Eyecare unscrupulously debits the customer’s bank account for ?10 per month for 5 years. And the people don’t even realise they’ve been had. Any customers that don’t pay are referred to “Zorro Law” which is the most illegal law firm in the world where uberbitch Stephanie Kleyman, aided and abetted by sidekick Mariam Sharifrazi will badger the customers until they’ve coughed up all the money, and then some in “collection charges” . . . yep, talk about customer satisfaction. What a joke!

And that’s the scam. It’s the same one Gershfield practiced in the USA. Looking at the FTC lawsuit, that’s what got him into trouble, failing to provide any terms for the transaction and then repeatedly making illegal debits from people’s bank accounts even after they’d repaid thousands of dollars for a $200 loan. Makes you wonder what planet Gershfield is from? Once the American money dried up, Gershfield thought he’d try his luck in the UK. But guess what, the authorities are on to you! Eyecare’s days are numbered. The trailers are dangerous, illegal and uninsured. The staff can’t even clean toilets properly let alone test eyesight. With Sandeep in charge, the lab is a joke and is one step away from going up in smoke. The post sales service is the worst of any company EVER, and I’ve worked at some shit companies. Oh, and Gershfield’s about to be arrested for fraud and tax evasion so good luck with all that!

Charles what a story.....you seriously should try your luck in some hollywood movie...you will do well!! clearly currently you are jobless because you are spending far too much time in cooking up stories.

While you were with Aaron you enjoyed the benefits of being a part of the group and now when you have been kicked out due to your poor performance at work and your sloppy work you have decided to write shit about the company.

Get real and get a meaningful goal for yourself. else you will destroy yourself and people around you ....
