i have called 2 of my pdl and little loan shoppe waited till i begged and gave 2 options, one to pay at later date or another to make monthly payments and send them in mo to them. I was sooo excited, but at first he said i was such a new loan there was nothing they could do.
the other i called was ameriloan and i found out littleloan shoppe and ameriloan are not authorized in mich. Anyway ameriloan said they cant do anything unless im deliquent so to not let my next payment go through then i could do arrangments!! how wrong is that. you would think they would be happy to work with the ones in good standing, but i guess we are the ones they figure they will get the money from.

so many more to go,
thankyou,

i cant loggin for somereason though,

No i didnt close my acct i want to avoid that at all cost!! But ameriloan didnt want to work with me, so i will have ot pay them off soon!!
At least im seeing the ones i need to get rid of fast!!
I just called centrunion AKA loan point usa and they are useless!! cant get anywhere with them, nothing they can do, cant change the payment, but i have $60 coming out on the 2nd i asked if the date can be moved no its an online pdl nothing we can do. then she said i can pay the $200 by the next paydate and id be pd in full - by sending in a money gram or western union!! she changed and said it was 2 days i asked if she could go to the 5th and she said she would and i asked her to send me an email stating this info, she hesitated, but i insisted!!
I really want these to go away and fast, i was stupid and its catching up to me fast, im sure many of you know what im saying!!

Crossing your fingers doesn't keep your money safe.

These places will not stop debiting your account. The ONLY way to keep your money safe is to close the account and protect it from forced openings.

Everyone has other things that come out of their bank accounts. You will have to get them switched, or stopped, and pay another way until you get everything set up at another bank. It is a small inconvience.

Just wait until the day ameriloan decides to take out the full amount you owe, but breaks it down into $40 increments. leaving you with 10 NSF fees . . . . . And then they do it again the next day.

Really, it's much better to owe these comapnies money, then owe your bank a large sum . . . be reported to Chexsystems . . . . making it harder to open a new bank account . . . . being sent to a collection agency by the bank . . . . being sued by the bank.

i agree 100%, i know crossing my fingers wont work, but i can tjust close my acct today, wish i could i have other things and direct deposit and what not.
I just want to pay these guys off, like everyone else i guess. I probably will close my acct when things clear up and through it, im sure my bank will let me open another one just switch it over i guess. Never had to do this before, boy do i feel stupid in the first place.

hahahahahahahaha...if ONLY it were that easy!!! You have the right intentions, but the PDL's DON'T.

Seriously...to protect your money, you need to close it. Do as Goudah says. Otherwise, you will always have to worry about the PDL places. Please listen to us! We learned the hard way...to make it easier for you!

I agree that closing your account is the safest way to protect your money, most of these Internet pdl's are operating illegal, that pretty much says it all for me, if they can't even abide by the laws and become licensed, why on earth would they not continue to steal even more money from your account? They don't care because they prey on people who don't know thier rights.

You should listen to everyone. I know the hard way that they will keep debiting your checking account and the things you want paid will bounce and the charges add up quickly. I was turned over to a collection agency by a bank and paid it off. It was several hundred dollars. I am out of the payday loan trap and will never get in it again. I too had direct deposits, you work will help work it out for you. Just close it ASAP!

Wendy - in your original post you said that ameriloan won't do anything to help you unless your account defaults. The only way it will default is if your payment is returned to them. If you have money in your checking account when they send through your ACH, then your pymt to them will go thru, thus the cycle continues and you will continue to pay them their fees.

Wendy, I've seen many posts where people thought they had made arrangements with some of these PDLs, then the PDL went ahead and took all of their money at once. And sometimes, as Goudah pointed out, they break it into smaller amounts and you end up with multiple NSF fees from your bank, on top of the overdrafts caused by the PDL withdrawals. Since you have already talked to these PDLs, you really need to close your account ASAP, like today!

no i pd them 2 payments of $60 plus a return fee of $30 even though it rent through next day. Ive pd them $150 so far
Sorry if i was misleading, i see what you are meaning the amounts i put behind my loans were the amount i needed to pay to pay it off , i am sooo sorry. I had $200 (260) so sorry, i meant it was 260 to pay off.
thanks
I did contact the bbb also and filed a complaint here in michigan also, see what happens with that
