Kingston Financial - What are the common complaints against them?

I just received an e-mail from kingston financial payday loans company saying they would renew my loan and withdraw only the finance fee on Friday, 2/27. I had received an email last night from them saying to disregard that email if they had already processed my application.

The problem is: I have never received a loan from them! I am terrified that they are going to draw money out of my account on Friday and every payday after. I sent them 2 threatening emails, and called but they were closed. I will call again in the morning. What can I do to make them prove they did not deposit money in my account?

I took the loan out and it was deposited the next business day as promised. kingston financial took $289.00 out of my savings account on time as I requested. I called them to advise to take the full amount out on my next payperiod and as they specified in their email, I sent them an email requesting the funds taken out on my next payperiod. Thus far I have not had a problem with kingston financial. I see people say that they call the number for kingston financial and the line is busy. I did come across that problem but that was because I called too early. I called when they opened at 8am central time and someone did answer my call.

I took out a $200 loan with Kingston Financial as well, they explained the terms of the loan (as ridiculous as they are) but I was desperate and I took it. They deducted $89 from my account each payday until I could pay the loan in full. Took me about 4 paydays. Yes they are a rip-off but i signed up for it. Nothing was hidden, they did not take more than they said they would, they sent me reminder emails and the telephone agents were not rude in my situation. Why would they be? They are getting over like fat rats.

Those of you that are thinking about using this company DON'T!!! This company is being investigated by the Federal Trade Commission and the FDIC for fraud. I am an attorney and I strongly advise anyone NOT TO USE THIS COMPANY!! Those of you that has used them and currently are trying to get your money back, seek an attorney or go to legal aid for help.

First of all I am an attorney, and it's against the law in every state for a creditor to come to your job to demand money. You could of called the police and had the gentleman arrested and then sued for your balance to be credited back to your account in a small claims case. And you would of WON because he came to your job. Don't ever let a creditor harrass you or threatned you that they are coming to your job or calling your boss, it's against the law and a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practice
Good Luck

Kingston Financial Services...the Payday Lender..actually did what they promised: I applied for a loan, they deposited the money, and the auto-debits have been occurring.

However..AND THIS IS CONJECTURE...AND I HAVE NO PROOF...But...due to a medical situation with my family, I have had to reallocate my financial resources and thus have missed 3 payments.

Fast forward, I received a phone call from someone identifying himself as Officer Chris William (who scrupously avoided directly saying he was affiliated with /or sworn law enforcement) who indicated he was with a "law office-Cyber Crimes Unit" and if I ignored the call, a team of sheriff's deputies would be waiting for me (again, avoided saying what these deputies would do once they visited me) and my employer and supervisor would be apprised of the "lawsuit" that has been filed against me. He left a phone number 425-905-1389. Person did have an accent. Of course someone naive would be panic stricken because this individual said all of the correct -key words and inferences (lawsuit, "Cyber Crimes Unit", "deputies"...yada...yada..yada). Well I ignored the deadline and gee...no deputies. I also contacted the "owner' of that phone number and indicated that a user of the number is employing questionable tactics; and I also added a post to reverselookupdatabase.com..who also had a number of complaints against this 425 phone number.

Now I am NOT saying this is affiliated with Kingston Financial Services. I'm just pointing out a coincidental event. Draw your own conclusions!!

(Sadly,.,,these firms are needed because in the U.S. now, the unsecured ,personal loan market is "gone" if you don't have a credit score of greater than 600 (more like > 630) . You are subprime and if you need a loan, you cannot get one. I work for a large financial corporation (and I mean LARGE) and the chairman recently stated that the subprime market was not a market he wanted to be in (though he was talking about mortgages but the underlying message applies to all markets). Sadly, if it weren't for Kingston and a couple of the other PDLs, I would not have been able to help my family.

Poor business ethics, to say the least, they probably aren't even licensed to lend in your state, CLICK HERE to find out how to deal with illegal lenders.

So i live in CO. I took out a 200$ dollar loan with them back in December around Christmas. the number i have from them is 1-800-620-8790 and receive an email from info@kingstonfinancial.com every time my loan is coming due. I have paid the $89 dollar fee every two weeks, totaling over 1400$!!! I am just wondering is there is anyway to enforce something to put a stop to there withdrawals. My loan is coming due again on the 28th, I feel like since i have paid over 7 times the amount of the pay day loan that i should be able to get this wiped out. If someone could help me i would greatly appreciate it! PLEASE!!
