I received a voicemail today from a woman named Kathleen Robinson with United Cash Loans at 800-410-9275. She stated that I needed to contact her today by 5pm to avoid further processing. When I called the united cash loans phone number, they answered. Has anyone spoken with this woman and is she really calling from UCL or does she really work for a CA representing UCL?

Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,

To my knowledge payday loans are illegal in Nevada or Oklahoma, they had violated laws in several states where they are illegal and took money forcefully from people!!!!!!!!!
They had scammed a lot of people....Please be careful while selecting the right company! If you are already into it please be careful! If something wrong happens you can seek the help of Oklahoma Consumer Protection

you could try closing the account where the loan is transferred from but that may not stop the payments from being taken from new account. Try writing a "cease and desist" letter asking them not to take money from your account because the loan is paid off. Send it return receipt so you have a record of sending it and keep copies. Good luck.

I got a call from a attorney's office in california maybe it was a collection agency about a loan I tooke out from united cash. I tried to work out a payment with them but they would not take less then 50 at the time because I am broke. So now I am being sued for more then the loan if I don't pay up before 3:00 pm I guess my time or theirs. They told me I had to pay $354 to keep the account from going to court. I told them I will only pay them 280 that is what I owe united cash they can't take anything out of checking because I closed the account . I have prepaid card. I have a new account but they don't have that info. I am seriously thinkning of paying the loan. I have courtesy pay on my account. I may have a negative balance until next payday which is next week but at least I won't get sued. They are going to turn the case over to the sheriffs department etc. I told them I was not scared. I got tired of dealing with untied cash on several occasions.
Would love some advice

no MTE loan will sue,nor will any attorney.they are illegal, and no court in the union will allow there bogus exemption.remember with illegal loans you only owe the principle.try to remember what you borrowed and what was debited before default.again no MTE loan will sue you nor will any attorney they hire be able to sue if the person knows they are illegal.if you haven't filed AG complaints yet do so.they are a "SOVREIGN NATION"which means they can't sue without losing there immunity.also the attorney must be from the supposed tribe as well.file the complaints, and don't pay them a dime more than you have to.

while i like that this most illegal pdl is letting you make payments.the part that disturbs me is that they most likely did give or sell alot of people's info to these scammers.an FU for trying to exercise your rights.after what i went through with their sister companies AMERILOAN,and USFASTCASH.i don't doubt this for a second.btw cash america is one of the loan names this scam throws out there.

I took a loan from United cash for 400 and paid back the 520 for the loan and they call me on my cell phone saying I still owe them money. Your right, they are frauds. it's time the gov't does something about these ripoffs.

I got a loan fromm United Cash Loan on 7/15/10 for only 350.00 now I am owing them 455.00 which I can't pay back in one payment. They have you agreeing by just signing your name to front page of the forms then when you print the forms out that when you see all the dirty work that they have put you through. Like me they want me to make one payment of 455.00, which I can't afford,I can only make monthly payment. If I pay them 455.00 thats almost more then my check.

these folks are located on tribal land in OKLA they will tell you they do not have to follow the white mans law......the attny general in OKLA sent the parent company Rio Resources a cease and Desisit since they are not recognized lenders per FDIC loan guidelines. BUT they cant do anything to UCL.....time to let you in on a secret...if they are not owned by the tribe or allowed to conduct business by the tribe they cannot do so...so now who do you think owns UCL???? Maby the Miami tribe or Modoc......I would call the cheif evertime you got a threatening call and see what happens.

I live in the NYC metropolitan area. I have received several calls from United Cash Loans threatning by saying, "Do you have a lawyer to represent you in court tomorrow? Police officers will be at your residence or place of business to arrest you in the morning." I don't have a loan with them. I am concerned that they told me my SS number and know where I bank. (I never gave them any info at all). The police will not do anything because all I have is a phone number of the company. Phone number for them changes (CA, FL, NV, Sourth America, etc...)--I call back with caller ID, but none of their representatives will give me an address (address is not registered with phone number on whitepages). I have filed complaint with the FTC and was only given the advice to put a fraud alert with Equifax, but nothing else could be done. FTC rep was nice and said, "Good Luck!" I can't believe that NY State, NYC or the federal government can't do anything about this....One man form UCL (with a thick like from India or Sri Lanka) who claimed to be a lawyer could not tell me when I took the loan out or which of the 400 subsidaries of United Cash Loans (he volunteered the 400) gave me the loan. I keep a close eye on my credit report, but this is over 6 months--lawyers are too expensive. Any suggestions on how to get definite address of UCL or to move goverment officials/employees?

Jarcal, if the person had a thick accent, it's entirely possible, per earlier posts, that UCL sold your info to a scammer located in India. If they call up, just hang up on them. I've had calls like this and when they said they were going to send the police after me I asked "they're going to come all the way from India to get me? Come on down!!!" and hung up. It WOULD be nice if the government could do something but if you WERE called by an overseas scammer, I doubt there's much any of our government or regulatory agencies could do. As United Cash Loans hides behind Indian tribal laws in Oklahoma, I don't know if contacting any of the tribal leaders would do any good or not; UCL is a real pain, I'd love to see them taken down.

I borrowed $150.00 and every week they take $45.00 out oif my account. I called them and they said that the money didn't go to my loan it was money just renew my loan. For a $150.00 loan i am paying $500.00 dollars. I asked them if i can pay alitte on the loan and they said no they would only take $90.00 a pay period.they also said that when i pay the $90.00 the interest of $45.00 dollars will reduced by $15.00.so i think that this is a scam and this is breaking me but when i pay them off i will never ever get a loan from them.

They also sell or pass on your bank account number to a third party. I got a loan paid the first payment when it was due. The next week an unknown company debited my account. I found out about through my bank which advised me to close my account. I have contacted the Indiana Attorney General's office and the BBB. There are numerous complaints concering this company. I will also be contacting the AG in Nevada.

United Cash Loans is trying to file a lawsuit against me for not paying them back for a loan I DON'T have. They are threatening me with large amounts they are going to sue me for and more. I don't have a loan through them. What do I do?

If you don't owe any money to United Cash Loans, then you don't need to make any payments to them. You should ask them to send a debt validation letter to you. If they don't send the DV letter, then you should send a Cease and Desist letter via certified mail. If you are really served with summons, then you can consult an attorney and draft the reply correctly. But all things said and done, I don't feel you will be sued by them if you don't owe any money to them. This is one of the scare tactics that the collection agencies use to make money out of the consumers.

I have been receiving calls from these people for months and I never even took out a loan with them. They continue to ask for someone who isn't here, and when I ask to speak to their manager, I get ignored. I spoke to Enia, who claimed that her name was so original there was no need to give out any other identifiers. I asked for her last name and she asked for mine. I told her my last name and she said that I didn't need to know hers.

Resolved to call about her, I dialed their number to speak to a manager. They claim that their business is closed even though I had just received a call. There is an interesting aspect to their phone system that allowed me to try extensions until I got one correct. I found that 2011 works to get to someone, but they were 'Unavailable' when I called. When I try to leave a voice mail, it gave me a busy signal and hung up on me.

Listen people....Those who have had difficulty with this company contact info...its clear based on their website that:::
[COLOR=#F90]Tribal Financial Services, doing business as UnitedCashLoans??, is a tribal lending entity wholly owned by the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma,
a Sovereign Nation recognized by the United States government under the Oklahoma Indian Welfare Act of 1936.

However I spoke with a rep Im so glad i backed out and never allowed the loan to go thru especially now, anywho, the reps state they have no affiliation with the tribe. Im so glad I recorded the call just like they did and i informed them i was...now i will pursue the tribes financial services thru the business comitee about all of my concerns..dealing with a tribe gives me the feeling it will be an us vs them mentality on their end...they lie all the way around about their so call process....people try your family friends for loans if need be or tough it out....its surely not as bad as it could be especially the fact you can qualify says you work so chill out and choose a better course of action then a payday loan

You're from IL, do not let this people robbed you left and right.close your acct or stop payment on it. Download Illinois laws for pdl and fill out a consumer complaint to illinois Atty general. Look at their website. Write and fax all of this to united cash loans. Last, do not borrow from them. They are notorious.

I took a loan out for $300, I have paid every 2 weeks $90 for the last 2 months. Now I look at my account and they have charged another $295. totalling $655 paid on a $300 loan. I am a single father of 4 and have done loans online before but never have I come across a company w/such practices. I will be calling my bank and disputing these charges as well as alerting whatever agency deals w/ illegal loan practices. I have paid over 200% of the loan. they know they are fraudulent because instead of putting 1 charge in for $295. they did 1 @ $90, 2 @ $50, 1 @ $75 and 1 @ $30. on the same day. they are trying to pry out anything they can get from you and hope you don't check or balance your accounts. My recommendation is to never do business w/ this company.
