I find this website really helpful and I have been reading prior posts about how horrible capital one is. Has anyone ever successfully settled with them? I am about 150 days late and in the hardship department. I have made a settlement offer to them and I have been told that I don't qualify for a settlement. Reading prior posts I see that many people are told the same thing. Has anyone ever settled with capital one? Does the settlement happen after discharge Any help is appreciated.

Capital One is not easy to
Capital One is not easy to deal with. They rejected my settlement offer too. It was when they assigned the account to a collection agency, I was able to settle my debt. Cracked a 60% settlement deal.
Ask them if you can qualify for any hardship program.
