MY HUSBAND JUST PAID A 107,00 eletronic check to HSBC HOUSEHOLD CREDIT CARD in august 3,2006 and they asked for more 187,00 for august 18,2006.i think for a credit card with 1400,00 only is a lot of money and i go to copy(xerox)this letter to the atorney general of florida (later).household credit card people told my husband that they dont ask for more money in august 2006 because he was paying july and august 2006 together in august 3,2006 (107,00).they told my husband in a letter yesterday,if he didnt make another payment of 187,00 in august 18,2006 his credit rate you be affected and all the damage against my poor husband blind and mentally ill.i hope household bank think about the letter they send here.they need a court order to take from disability check and after that stoped to harassed a person that gets only 623,00 a month and is paying his accounts.

Be very careful dealing with HSBC. Even if your payments are ontime, they still try and stick you with a late fee. They will deliberately post the payment late to get the fees. They are known for not posting payments, lying about receiving payments, even though if you pay online you have a confirmation number. They don't at all hesitate to sue. Trust me on this one.

Oh I know. Last month, I was charged 30.00 for going over my limit. Let me tell you why. They charged 59.00 in what they called a annual fee. I have had this card for two years and now I get an annual fee? I explained to them that I didn't know about this annual fee and they removed the 30.00 over limit fee. However, guess what? I went one dollar over and I am being charged again the $30.00 overlimit fee.

That is why I have a no hassle capital one card. I have not had not one problem with my capital one card since I have had it. in fact, they have raised my credit limit. I am considering doing a balance transfer which I have told them that I would at one point. HSBC begged me stay.

You guys keep talking about Capital One and Household Bank, has anyone had any experiences with PROVIDIAN FINANCIAL?? That's GOT TO BE the worst credit card banking company there is on earth to deal with.

Household bank just send a credit card for my husband in the mail.the name of the card is ameriquest and belongs to household bank.my husband
Dont need more cards from household bank.ameriquest offers this credit card only for people with serious problems of credit.ameriquest credit card is a fraud credit card.put on the carbage.hsbc

i have a problem here.
my husband received a Ameriquest credit card in 2006.
i want to put this card in the garbage but was a substitute card from Bank Popular credit card that is Household credit card either.(HSBC)
my husband have a balance of 4500,oo but he is paying over a 100,00 is this credit card.Ameriquest
give cash either like 40,00 a month and this account is increasing for 5000,00.
Ameriquest is in his credit report with different names:Hsbc Nevada and Direct Merchants Credit card bk.(2005-06 CREDIT REPORTS OF MY HUSBAND)
THE AMERIQUEST CARD HE HAVE HERE HAVE ONLY THE DATE OF EXPIRATION 5-09.
THIS ACCOUNT WAS OPENED IN 2003.
I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY THEY SEND AMERIQUEST CREDIT
CARD FOR HIM AND DONT PUT THE REAL Name in credit report.
AMERIQUEST IS NOT SUPOST TO BE SENDING TO HIM?

You have provided this lovely forum thinking that your customers and prospective customers would sing your praises but have you really spent time reading anything anyone has posted? I am going to say no because your own forum is displaying dissatisfied person after dissatisfied person.

Wake up call! Your customer service reps are cocky and rude. ICG has a glitched up computer calling system which is making people angry all on your behalf. Have you ever checked out your 1-800-446-1022's records on whocalled.us (found by typing the 1-800 number into the google.com search bar). There are over 650 dissatisfied people that will never use you because of their frustrations with your services and employees. Over 650 people that ONLY represent the population using computers, then using google.com, then using whocalled.us, then actually reporting it to whocalled.us. "650" is a narrowed down number, the amount of people you've probably driven away is into the thousands or tens of thousands.

We are your customers and future customers, you can't survive without our money. I, for one, will never use anything afiliated with your bank ever again. Such a shame for you because I work very hard and would have probably been your ideal customer. Oh well. Maybe you'll learn, maybe you won't.

I disagree with you Aizawa. First, many credit cards now charge $39 for late fees and $39 for over limit fees which is way to much. Second, many cards post them if you are late or not. Heck I just had an American Express bill come in that they posted a $39 late fee and over the limit fee 4 times in my past two billing cycles and it was a physical impossibility for that bill to be late and I easily proved it. In the past 2 billing periods they have removed 4 late payments and 4 over the limit payments that they tried to stick me with. The final reason I disagree with you is because both the due date and the limit are set by the credit card company and they manipulate them in order to create fees. The grace period from the time the bill is sent to the time the bill is due has shrunk to about 15 days in total down from 40. In 2006 the credit card industry made 90 billion in interest and 55 billion in fees. This is 4 times the profits of the oil industry and credit card companies produce NOTHING!!! I urge anyway that gets a fee to dispute it everytime.

hey these companies tell us, "dont talk to your credit card companies,we'll handle them for you " really now..
tell you what, they send the bank a proposal that would take 45 days to be reviewed and that's the only time for them to take over the acct imagine your credit card 30+ days late thats a big no no.

This company is probably the biggest scam out there! They come through in a pinch if there is a medical emergency. My dog was hit by a car and his back broken. The driver left him in our yard in the middle of the night. The next morning he was whimpering at the door and dragging his backside. The surgery was 6000 that I did not have. But I couldn't put him down since he was just a year old. They came through and my baby is walking just fine today. However the first payment was due in Sept. It was paid on time and even more than was asked. The October pmt was the same. November was 2 days late with Thanksgiving and company and they socked me with a late fee and upped my interest saying that my contract was now voided since I was late! My interest skyrocketed to 28% now. The following month with Christmas I was a week late but I spoke to the woman on the phone and told her that I would have it completely caught up by the next payment and did make a double payment on Jan 4th! Right after they accepted my payment they sent it to collections!!!!!! Talk about a scam. You try so hard to do the right thing and make good on your word and where does it get you? I am really still devistated.

Seems like HSBC credit card isn't good. I have a Savings account, through them, with a Debit card attached. Gosh....I use to hear good things about Household. Alot of unsatisfied people here.

You want to stop credit card fees? Over the limit fees? Annual fees? Cut up your credit cards and pay cash. Become debt free. There is no such thing as a "good credit card". You will always be a slave to the lender when you "borrow" money from a credit card company to buy crap that you probably don't really need in the first place. Help yourself....listen to Dave Ramsey and follow his plan...it really works. daveramsey.com It is not some scheme to erase debt magically. Yes it does take time to pay down your debt...yes you will feel pain from tightening your budget belt...but there is a light at the end of the tunnel and it is not a train coming at you.

I use to have a Orchard Bank credit card (which was SUPPOSELY through Household) which, at the time, i thought would help me 'credit wise'. Anyway...they DID charge extra fees for this and that. Just seemed like every payment I was making (monthly..) the balance would not go down. Actually.....the % went up (it was an 'high risk' credit card..). The % went up, however.........the credit card company din't tell me that. It was wasting money when I was making payments...just din't see any 'dents' in the debt. I'm still dealing with this company. Any advice?

i was paying on credit card got it in 11/04 moved and the
papers did follow me to new adress i was contacted and threated in june of 06 the agreement was 1300.00 and 53.00
month be taken out of my account they stopped taking it out
in 11/06 now they want to take me court with no job
