Hunny bear,
How many do you have?
Can you tell us which ones they are? If you've paid back the full loan amounts with the allowable interest for your state, you may be able to get some relief from the rest of the totals due!

I probably have between 10-13. I am hoping you guys can help me figure out what to do and give me advice because i have no idea. i know my spending habits were part of how we ended up in this mess and i have since stopped and am even getting a second job to try to help. my husband is at ends with me and some of these are in his name and some in mine and his paycheck goes in today and will be gone causeing overdrafts because we realized we do not even have enough to pay them now. and to top it off today is his birthday and all birthday money he received went to bills so he is upset. not to mention it has put an awful strain on our marriage. i know some of them but not all as i am at woirk and the list is home the ones i know about are mypayday loan, cash2day4u, nationwidecash, apple payday, xtracash, cri interweb, magnum cash advance, 1000-easy-payday-loan, ameriloan, cashoption, worldwidecashcredit. We live in maryland can you help me find out what to do?

While there are no current laws banning cash advances and other forms of payday loans in Maryland (including caps on fees, time limits, number of loans out and/or maximum loan amounts), the state's Usury Laws prohibit any loan with an annual interest rate of more than 33%. This, combined with a new ???anti-broker??? clause in its loan laws, makes it very difficult to get a cash advance in Maryland.
You my friend, need to do some work here! Figure out how much you've paid into each one of them...get organized!
Figure out your interest percentage, and how much you've already paid, including the original loan amount!
These guys have done some illegal lending in your state and you need to call them on it!!!
Head over to your State's Business and Prof. Regulation Website and search for licensing information as well, chances are NONE of them are licensed to lend to you in Maryland! Report them as well to your Attorney General's Office! Each and every one of them!
Close your checking account immediately! Open a new one and take back control of your money.
Start writing some letters to them include the laws they have violated and revoke any more debits from your account.
thank you. i will start working on this when i get home this eve
thank you. i will start working on this when i get home this evening. i know in the past i had gotten a loan or two at a time but i have never had this many. what i mess i created. but sometimes when you think you are doing what you have to to survive, you do not think of the mess. i tried to space them out and now they are all coming out at once. and we can not get loans because of our credit so this was my last resort although now it makes sense why i used paydayok, paydayselect, and quickpayday in the past and now they are no longer lending in maryland
You're very welcome...don't let those stinkers control you! W

We've all been there, some worse than others. Keep working on it, don't let up on them either!
I'd start with paydayok, paydayselect and especially quickpayday! Quickpayday has been sued by Colorado for illegal loans and are in the process of being sued by other states as well! I'd demand a refund from them if you've overpaid.

Pmorelli - you need to register to this forum so it would be easier for everyone to assit you. I also have a loan with cashcall which seems as if the loan amount is not decreasing. I regert taking out a loan with them as their interest is extremely high.
payday loan
I'm glad they did not approve my application. Well, they called me before and told me that I am approved for a $3000 loan but I can't remember ever applying to them. Because I was in need I asked them what should I do before I can get the money.
Well, they told me that I need to fax them a copy of my paystub, driver's lic & social. So I did. A week had gone by but never heard from them. I called and called & called, left them with so many voice messages and emails but no response. After 1 week and a half I called again and asked to speak to their supervisor. I was then transferred to the guy who I spoke originally. He told me that he cannot approved (i thought I'm already approved) my loan because according to my credit report I have a delinquent account for $9000. I told him, I need to get a copy of my report or a letter saying I was declined so that i can report it to credit bureau. Waited again, called again, send them millions of email, asked to speak to their supervisor but they totally ignored me. I know it's odd but what else can I do.
