When will I know?

The company offering you the free quote will let you know after the program is finalized. They will collect all your account details and prepare the payment plan for you. You will be asked to sign the contract before the program commences. It takes a day or two to get everything in order.

Will I be denied if it's not a certain amount or more?

When I got in touch with the counselor, they asked the minimum amount of debt I have. They will tell you in the beginning if you are disqualified for their program. It happens very rarely but you have to talk with the consultant to know everything.

Can I ask you the amount of debt you have?

Its not much really but its getting worse on a monthly basis. Its up to 1500.00 now. The calls are getting more frequent, and they are starting to get rude.

Have you tried to explain your part to the creditors calling you? Don't ignore their calls otherwise things can take a negative turn. They will assume that you are trying to avoid your responsibilities of paying the debt.

Offer them a realistic monthly plan that you can afford on your own and study their reactions. Hope it works for you.
