Company/Individual reported: Cash Today ( payday loans )

I got a payday loan about last year in October for $200. While getting needed information from me at my job, I was told that there would be a $79 dollar fee. Then I was told the total loan would be due my next payday and would be automatically taken out of my account. To stop them from taking it out of my account I would have to call that wednesday before my payday. So that week came and I never called for them to extend the loan. My payday came and instead of the total amount of $279 being withdrawn, they only took out $79 so I thought that they were breaking up the payments. When it went over the $279 I called them and they said I had to call them for them to take that $279 out of my account. The $79 dollars they have been takiing out every two weeks is for a hold on the loan and they say I will not fet that back. I tried to explain that I was never told this information. Now to this date they are still taking out the $79 every two weeks. I would like to know if are there any further steps that I can take to report this company and get my money back?

Cash today is one of the worst pdl's you could possibly be involved in. They have the famous, "paperless contract". You had to have agreed via phone to their contract terms.
They will continue to draw out the fees until you call and pay back the total amount of the loan.
I would pay them immediately and close your checking account to avoid any further problems. They're notorious for continuing withdrawals after the fact!
There are a lot of threads on here that address this company's unsavory collection tactics...
Also, it would be a good idea to refrain from anymore payday loans in the future.
I'm sorry this has happened to you, but get rid of them asap.
