thanks...I took these loans out over the internet. I noticed that one agreement states that it doesn't matter what state you live in, you will abide by the state that the loan came from. Is that legal.

Payday loans are illegal in North Carolina, period!
Send them a letter with the appropriate laws highlighted!

would it be best to close account before sending letter, in case they decide to debit my account? would they be able to garnish my wages? I am going to use the letter you posted. thanks

Jn..Just make sure you have at least paid back the principal loan amount, after all, they did lend it to you.
I would definately close my account too, once they get a wif that you can't pay, they will start debitting like crazy.
Send those letters out pronto, email them too!
