My baby Missy

Oh,Ari,she is just precious!She's soooo cute-she lays just like my kitties do.Whenever they see my car pull up in the driveway,they are already on their backs,wahting their belly and chin scratched! Bet yours isn't spoiled either :lol: ...Karen

Ari-------I opened this really quick cause I thought you had a real baby (and I thought, geez she's been really quiet about being pregnant!)

My older kitty lays that way, except right in the middle of my kitchen when I'm trying to do something!

Missy is a real handful! She also has a huge crush on my husband, as most female cats do and she's always jumping in his lap when he's at the computer. We also bought her a 12-pack of catnip mouse toys, she runs around playing a lot, and when she loses one of her toys under the closed door of a room she's not supposed to go into, she cries and I have to go rescue the toy! She also likes to stick her head in my glass of water instead of going to her own water bowl.

Sounds like someone is taking over the house!! LOL...

I recommend a 12 pack of Guiness. Calm her right down....

12 pack of Guinness? I don't think Missy is Irish. She is definitly Danish just like my husband, she loves fish!

I am so proud of my little girl today! I took her to the vet for her first vaccinations and she was such a little sport! She was a little fussy in the car, but then again so was I, but she was such a good kitty when the nurse and the doctor were examining her and giving her medications. She even got to see her brother again just as the man who adopted him was leaving and that was a nice surprise! When we got home I gave her her favourite snack as a reward for being so good! She's lyiing down on my lap now having her belly rubbed.

She get her good girl snacks, she has more toys than she knows what to do with.

My little girl is so warm and affectionate! Always wants someone to throw one of her catnip mice for her.

That's what these two love,no other toy will do!They also like to hide them in house shoes and pounce on them!...Karen

Missy has been caught putting catnip mice in my husband house slippers, and in my sandals.

I can't have them inside my house,but now they HAVE to have their playtime inside,so I bring them in and my son and I play thro the mice a thousand times,and rub the belly!...Karen

Me and Frank also chase her around when she's playful. I call her my bouncin' baby.

The funniest thing, and she's not supposed to be doing this, is when she curls up in the fruit bowl on the dinig room table. She has her own fur-lines bed, but she can't seem to resist the stained-glass fruitbowl my auntie gave us as a wedding gift.

I know,I made these two a nice bed with hay,etc.,for the winter and find them curled up in my chairs on the porch!...Karen

Tell me about it, it's like you lay down the rules, and they thumb their noses at you.

They are kids. Kids that walk on all fours. But I was so proud of my little trooper today!

Missy update!

She weighs 4.5 pounds now, and believe it or not, she loves to play fetch just like a little dog! My husband bought her this toy carousel, and she took it apart and there is this one toy on it that she loves so much, she always carries it to us in her mouth and meows for us to throw it for her, we throw it, she runs, and then comes bouncing back with it in her mouth again! Also, whenever I have an exercise mat layed out on the living room floor for yoga practice, she joins me. She also just had her third set of booster shots, this time Frank came along with and he saw for himself what a good little girl she is!

I know! Never a dull moment with my little Missy! She also loves those plastic rings that come off of milk and water jugs, when you try and crown her with them, she meows loudly and tries to bite it.

Ours like to play covers. One of them,if you cover it up.will hide and the other pounces-and the race is on! They have been such a blessing to my son who is on disability, who,by the way, is 33 years old today! Ouch-that really makes me feel old-I still think I'm 33,though my body doesn't think so :lol: ...Karen
