Beware I am getting text messages on my cell phone to apply for a payday loan at pday2.com. I don't want in that circle again. I have blocked text messages coming to my cell phone because I am not paying for receiving them and I do not have text messaging on my cell phone. I have it on my kids but not mine. The cell company was very nice and credited the charge. Thanks to this forum I have managed to get paid in full on the payday loans I had and even a refund from PaydayOK. The only one that does not want to respond is Ambassador dba Nationwide Cash who had taken more than enough to pay their account. A $20 loan I had paid in excess of $1000. and then they tried debiting my checking account twice for 11 different amount which were all returned by the bank so I got charged $33 each for overdraft and $33 for returned check fees. That is the next thing I have to pay off since my bank would not close the account until it was at a zero balance, even though to negative amount was all their charges and then would not block AHT withdraws. They then closed it and sent the amount to a collection agency. But I just wamted to say Thanks for all your help. I could not find any information on Ambassador until I came to this site. - Lanita

Thats the funny thing I don't remember giving out my cell phone number either and I guess "do Not Call" does not apply to texting because I added my cell phone numbers to the "Do Not Call" list when I started getting calls and voice mails from surveys. -- Lanita

I have never had a loan with them unless it is a "sister" company. So it was just as easy for me to block my incoming text messages. When I called the cell company they told me to send a complaint to their corporate office and to the FCC because evidently they are getting quite a few complaints. I didn't mind the .10 charge but figured if I didn't do something, that one was only the beginning and I sure didn't need the temptation again!

I guess I thought I had signed in before but I didn't. Yes, the text message prices can add up but I managed to get the text messaging blocked. Next they will be sending them across as premium service text messaging where they appear on some bills as a monthly charge and the only way to stop it is to either have the cell company block all premium text or reply STOP. I know that premium texting does not come across Cingular but does on Sprint unless you either reply "Stop" or have their CCR block the premium text and they will still come across if you just have the text messaging stopped. -- Lanita

I also am getting text message's from pday2.com I don't want them and I am not going too pay for them either. I am not sure why I am getting them but I wanted everyone to be aware that they are out there and too be careful. I am going too call my cell phone company and get a block on all text message's because they are kind of expensive and I don't want anymore. So everyone please be careful and don't except the message's, unless of course you want too apply for a loan with them.

This is over Virgin Mobile, in the 214 area code. Must be Virgin has a block of numbers, and pday2 sends messages to all of them. Or possibly the number I got was recycled? I logged into Virgin Mobile's web site and quickly found an option to block all text messages, so I did.

I had gotten some on my cell phone and at the end of the messages it says text (and it will give a number or something) when replying, and I have done that and so far, so good. Look at the end of the text message and see if it says something like to unsubscribe or to not receive any more emails, do..... that may work.
