How come Pluto is not a planet? All of us know that Pluto is the youngest member of solar family? All on a sudden scientists and researchers started debating if Pluto has the characteristics that a planet should have. On Thursday, the General assembly of the International Astronomical Union is going to decide Pluto’s fate, whether it will remain a planet or not.

Pluto’s bad luck continues as scientists offer Charon, Pluto’s satellite, a rank of planet in the solar family. Some of the scientists are of opinion that after few more years, Moon will be considered as a planet when its orbit will expand more. Whatever be the status of Moon, its beauty would never fade, that’s a guarantee :D

Wow speak of the devil 24 minutes ago this was released:

Quote:

PRAGUE, Czech Republic - For decades, it????????s been confused with a cartoon dog and ridiculed as a puny poser. Now Pluto, the solar system????????s consummate cling-on, has suffered its worst humiliation: It????????s not even a planet anymore.

After a tumultuous week of clashing over the essence of the cosmos, leading astronomers Thursday stripped Pluto of the planetary status it has held since its discovery in 1930. The new definition of what is ???????? and isn????????t ???????? a planet fills a centuries-old black hole for scientists who have labored since Copernicus without one.

The historic vote by the International Astronomical Union officially shrinks Earth????????s neighborhood from the traditional nine planets to eight ???????? forcing future revisions of science textbooks and classroom charts. But the scientists made clear they????????re as sentimental as anyone else about the ninth rock from the sun.

Now what are they going to do with the text books that explain the 9 planets - how are we ever going to explain this to our kids!!! How humiliating for Pluto, now Pluto's just a dog in Disney!!

Oh sorry, lost it there for a sec!! LOL, how ridiculous is it that they are wasting valuable time and energy discussing this!!

"I meant what will happen to the kids of the future?"

I'm afraid there may not be any. Sorry to say, but the very fabric of this planet get more and more unhealthy every day. The air, water, and soil are contaminated with chemicals that get into our bodies when we breathe, drink, and eat. It is why millions of people die of cancers every year, why there is so much infertility.
