Asset Acceptance/Xcel

:?: I am a home health worker. My client got a letter of AA regarding a $56 electric bill from 2000. When I called to inquire, the woman was rude, did not immediately identify herself and when I started to speak, told me that she had already spoken with me and told me what to do. When I told her that I had never spoken with her, she did calm down a bit. But my client paid all her bills at her previous residence before she moved 6 years ago. She is elderly and disabled and, of course, kept no records. Has anyone else had this negative an experience with this company? Are they for real?
