You have nothing to worry about. This is a threat to intimidate you to immediately pay. No sheriff is going to show up at your job. This is a civil matter at best.

You don't want these calls to continue. Right?? Talk with them about your loan status and arrange a payoff. They will understand your good motives and you are not avoiding them. If you don't talk, they won't stop these disturbing phone calls

So a couple of months ago, I had the payments from CA Now stopped on my bank. The loan was for 200 and I have paid them around 450. So, they sent me to a collection agency which hounded me for days....til I sicked my husband on them who decided to call THEM 30 times a day. Now, I just got a fax at my work (I am a teacher) that I am at ANOTHER collection agency and owe 400. They actually sent a fax face up with my name and SS # on it in HUGE letters....I was mortified. I DO NOT owe these people anymore money....but should I be worried?

Well how the fax came into your office is not their fault...that is the schools equipment. However, when I was in collections we were never permitted to send a fax without the debtors permission and knowing that they would be standing by the machine to retreive it.
Send the CA a cease and desist via CMRRR. Do you have proof you paid off the other agency? For a calling or contacting you a work, you can verbally cease them, telling them you cannot recieve communication at your job.
