Look into consolidating the small bills you fell behind on. If you can find a good friend or relative who can help you with storing your things that would be great. Prioritize though, there are programs for single mothers that help them find good housing, address the needs of yourself and your child. Payday loans and other small bills are not as important, no matter how any collector may make them appear. Don't be intimidated by collectors. By the way, your ex-boyfriend is a pantywaist for leaving you when you needed him the most. He can drop dead.
Keep us posted, sister!
Thank you so much.
Thank you so much. Really I just dont know how to do all of this. My credit is horrible and Im stuck paying on these payday loans so thats stopping me from adressing my other bills. I dont know how debt consolodation works. What I want to do is get a cosigner on a loan for 5,000 and pay off all my debt and get an apartment for my son and I. But I cant find anyone to do this for me. I just got my health back and I just want to start over. Is there anything that I can do myself without a cosigner to get me where I want to be?

Another loan is not the solution, it's just another loan with more interest and the cycle of crap continues. Do a google search for the T&C branch nearest you. They are the favourite consolidators of payday loans all over this forum. There is information all about them all over this forum as well. Check out the debt consolidation and Settlement topic for more information.

In a consolidation program, the counselors find out how much your take home salary is, how much you need to live on (rent, food, etc) and then figure out how much you can afford to pay each month. Then they contact your creditors and explain to them that you are working with a debt consolidation program and set up payment plans using the amount that you can afford to send to them. Some creditors will suspend late payment fees and interest while you are working with a debt consolidation company so your payment goes straight toward the debt you already owe. Each month they should send you a statement that shows where your money has gone, and how close you are to paying off each of your bills. This is a viable solution for many people, especially when you are overrun by debt.
