Hi, i have 2pdls ( xtra cash , jd marketing).
I've recently signed up for h&kennedy cunsumer attorney(i don't think they contacted any of my pdls yet) but those pdls company are saying that they don't work with consolidation comapany.
they said that my account was going to collection agency today since my bank account is closed.
does anybody know h&kennedy still works with those collection agency?

should i wait for attorney to contact with pdls? or make some payment with them?

please advise.
thanks!

My take is that you must update HK about the latest activity of your loan companies. If the lender sends your account to collections, a negative remark will appear in your credit report for the next seven years. Even though, the debt will get paid off after sometime but the damage once caused cannot be removed. Get in touch with HK and know how they are going to work with your lenders. You want to prevent any sort of negatives from being shown in your file.

Most pdl companies will tell you that in the beginning because they want their money right away. When I started debt consolidation, I heard that a lot. Some companies refused their proposals but cashed their checks. Keep us updated on your progress. Since you only have two, can you work out payment arrangments with the original lenders?
