Pallisades Collection LLC filed Judgment

Palisades has submitted a judgement against me with a third party lawyer acting on their behalf. I know that i was deliquent paying my MCI bill sometime ago, but never imagined it would be this much. Palisades is now charging me for not only what i owed and the interest but for the lawyer fees as well! How do i negoitiate this payment? Whom do i contact first? I don't want to file bankrupcy, however i am considered low-income. What do i do? I don't have a correct address for Palisades either. thank you - Irene

Do you know when you last made a payment on the account that is now with Palisades? Your original creditor will give you this info if the file is with them.
