... Independence Day!

While I still have debt and PDLs, I've done several things to become independent of the debt scammers.

1. I just joined this forum today. (I found it a week or so ago and wish I woulda found it sooner.)

2. Registered for the free counseling. I was impressed that someone from Superior Debt Services called on Labor Day.

3. Last week I opened a new checking account and will be closing my old account tomorrow.

4. I got the letter templates for sending to the illegal PDL scammers.

5. I'll be putting the various letters together tomorrow (I took this whole week off to do several things -- including this).

I have the contact information for all the PDL companies I'm with except 3. I'm hoping you great folks can help with that. I need the contact information (phone, fax, address) on the following companies:

Mypaydayloan (actually already PM'ed Mishele about this one)

ICS

Telmerica (Worldwidecashnow) - I have their address but I'd like to get phone and fax info if available.

And lastly a question. When sending the letters to the PDL companies, I've seen where some people have faxed their letters and some have mailed certified letters.

Which do you recommend and why?

Thanks for a great community and for giving me the information I needed to get started claiming my independence from the Internet PDL worms.

Try this 800-440-5869 for Telmerica, not sure if it works

You can choose any or both methods sending letters to your lenders. The most important thing is that you should be sure about their receiving your letter and you are able to prove it when required. The receipt of the certified mail will be a valuable proof. Well, great work in getting started and solving your payday loan problems. Good luck :)

I have backed off my plan just a bit. I decided it would be better to make sure with the bank that the account is actually closed b4 I tell the PDLs anything. I don't want them to try something.

But... I got the letters done. I'll post separately with one of the letters and tweak it so folks can use it as a template.

I still need contact info for ICS (other than the 800 number) and Mypaydayloan (I'll try your sugg. Karen).
