Just got a call from Cash Supply, they told me they do not have to abide by the state I reside in laws. They are exempt, and stated that the AG can say whatever they want they are untouchable. WHATEVER

She was obviously was trying to scare me and when I wasn't intimidated she stated she didn't care what the AG says or says they are going to do, she doubts there was ever any complaint filed. Well, the AG office has already contacted me this morning. She kept stating we are in NM so that is what law rules in this case she would not confirm or deny that they didn't have a license to operate in my state, (because they don't) She then said she was doing me a favor by settling the account for $600. I already paid $210.

I am trying to pay them down because of a over-draft problem - but it has been 3 months - will they close my account and send it to a collection agency - i plan on paying them the full amount the end of september - i swear - this check fraud that was made on my account - really set me back

She acted like she was doing me a favor, I questioned that why if I borrowed $350, with an interest payment of $105 would I owe $600, shouldn't it be $455? If your telling me that as of now the acct. is closed and not accruing any interest or other fees? I got no legitimate answer to her math.

This lady wasn't easy. She wants me to pay $200 every two weeks for next 3 pay periods. I do understand I owe a $30 NSF fee, fine, but for a $300 loan I have to pay $600 to close it? Is this guy a reasonable man? Would he be fair? I told her that I was being honest when I say "I won't be able to make your terms", and she gave me the threat "It'll be turned over for wire fraud" I told her to go sell crazy somewhere else because only fraud being committed was on their behalf. She then said, "Oh but that isn't going to happen to you, I mean others". Whatever.

I live in Ohio, I know they can only legally charge $55 in interest and fees and no roll overs are allowed. I have filed a complaint with the AGs office against these guys, and the office is in the process of calling each one. I told this lady this and she feels they are above the law and untouchable. At the request of Division of Finanacial Institutions I contacted the NM AG Division of Financial Inst. they have a division just for pdls, I'm waiting for a call back.

Pretty much amy...
Call this number: 1-800-416-8907 and see if you can get Scott on the phone, either way, keep calling until you can get someone reasonable to negotiate with.
Tell them you are willing to pay the amount owed, but your state's Financial Crimes Division forbids any further moneys to be paid to them that's not within the reasonable amount allowed for Ohio.
Try to be as professional and business like as you can, and don't take no for an answer. Have all your information in front of you: Laws, Statutes, Prof. Financial Division with names and numbers....
Also tell them you've received the information that they are NOT licensed in your state to lend money and that they are being investigated....

I spoke with NM AG office a little while ago and they are checking into this company for me. She has said everything you guys on the forum has said, that despite what Cash Supply is saying they are LEGALLY BOUND TO FOLLOW THE PDL LAWS OF OHIO an NOT THE STATE OF NM. I hope they are reading this. She said not to pay another dime and she was calling them for me, especially this Ms. Diaz who was the one from Cash Supply I spoke with yesterday. NM said Ohio can legally prosecute them, and for the simple fact that they are not licensed. Thanks, AMy

Scott Kurtze is no longer working for Cash Supply. I just called. I also spoke with NM's AG office with the dept that specifically deals with pdls. She told me that Cash Supply is to follow OHIO pdl laws since I am from Ohio and she would speak with our AG office. She was very informative and helpful, she is even calling Cash Supply on my behalf and calling me back! She stated that whatever Cash Supply is telling me, especially this Ms. Diaz is a lie. They are goverened by the borrower's state law and I should not pay a dime until the AG settles this matter and since they are not licensed I shouldn't owe them a dime. Thanks!

Thanks for the contact info. Unfortunately, my state's AG office hasn't been much help. So far as I can tell, all they do is contact the lender and then forward me their response. This is all I have gotten from the BBB also. I have a couple of lenders based in New Mexico, so I will try contacting this person. Thanks again!

You're welcom. This lady was interested in how this pdl was operating in their state. She even went online to their website while on the phone with me. Our Div. Of Fin. Institutions is interested in investigating as well, they're sending me the paperwork today. They also said that the AGs office will more than likely forward the complaints to them as well to investigate, they'll get dbl. paperwork. I was told that OH is watching very closing as to what NY, WV, MA and surrounding states are doing to these pdls, especially internet ones and this will determine their actions, but they are trying to do something. Thanks!

I will, I am going to call each state that my pdls are operating in and contact their AGs office, because I'm finding that they yell "We follow our state pdl laws" When no, that's not true, they're even breaking those ones as well. It was interesting because the NM lady has never heard of Cash Supply and questioned if they were licensed in her state. She's supposed to call Cash Supply and will contact me later. I feel like I should do a public service announcement about this business, I'll just be the dark shadowy figure giving the public warning to stay away!

I go all out when I am passionate about a cause. I am a single mom of two, I bust my ass for everything we have, and these thieves have stolen hard earned money from my children. I am a fool for allowing myself to get tangled up in a nasty situation, but there is a solution to every problem, I'll find my way out of this one. And if I learn something along the way I will share, and if there's something I can do, I'll do it. I am sharing alot of info. I got from you guys with a student who is in a class of mine who has over $3,000 in debt to storefront pdls. I'm thankful mine isn't that high.

At one time I owed over $3700 to them. I think my total paid out was over $7000 over a years time in just fees and nsf charges. Not to mention what I dished out to close my checking account!
It's pitiful and I kick myself every time I think of it...I will scream it from the rooftops...STAY AWAY!!!
lol

I spent a full day on this forum and made phone calls to all 7 of them. I told them I closed my checking account and wanted to make other arrangements. Some were pleasant, others not so.
I signed up with T&C for a couple months, but that didn't work for me, so I pulled my accounts and settled with each one within a couple months I was pdl free.
I have 1 that is ongoing, and am arguing with the fees. But they generally leave me alone. I think I harrassed them more than they could to me!
I took them out one at a time and wrote tons of letters and sent numerous emails...I sat for an affadavit with my state department about all of them and filed a formal complaint against each one!
I'm still on a roll, but back then I was really mad at myself and at them and their nastiness.
If it wasn't for Polly, fin and Jessie, I would've still been in this mess!

What did they say if you told them one by one that you'll have to wait say for example until Dec.? I just want my life back, I have not been the same person since May when all of this started. People are asking why do I look so tired, my kids are wanting to know when it's their turn on the computer. I'll have ameriloan pd. next week, but Cash Supply wants $200 for the next three pay periods, I can't afford that, I'm hoping that my AG's office can help with some mediation.

None of them are licensed in my state and since I've filed a complaint, 1 has settled my acct. and marked it paid in full, since I've paid $630 in interest and OH only allows $60 on a $300 loan. The AGs office is still in the process of speaking with them, since i've defaulted none except cash supply has called, one did to settle the acct (That was XPRESS CASH/PD6 Ventures/DMS Mktg), I'm expecting the others to follow the same route. And the Div. of Fin. Insitutions will also be involved once they review my complaints and find them not licensed to operate in OH.

I had taken a loan with Cash Supply for $300 and had paid back $390. I closed my account and they called last week saying that I had defaulted and they needed to get payment. They are saying I owe $495 to pay off the loan. Unbelievable! My state allows only a 15% finance charge. I am reporting them to my state's AG office.

File a complaint with the BBB, I did against them and they settled for what I legally owed in my state. There is a physical address you can send money orders to so don't let them tell you there isn't, it is located in Atlanta, GA, that is where their parent company is. They respond to all BBB complaints.

DON NOT GIVE ANYONE YOUR BANKING INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE ASK FOR A NUMBER TO CONTACT THEM, GOOGLE IT AND INVESTIGATE IT BEFORE YOU DO, BUT i WOULD ALSO ASK THEM TO SEND LEGAL DOCUMENTATION TO YOU IN THE MAIL CERTIFIED AND WHEN THEY SEND IT, GET A LAWYER TO LOOK AT IT BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING.
