Looking to get back on track

I have quite a bit of debt from a failed marriage and just plain ignorance of youth, I'm looking to get back on track and start my life anew. I am having trouble getting copies of my credit reports and don't really know where to start.
I'd rather not file bankruptcy and have it follow me for seven years, I'd rather get everything taken care of and get out from under it.
Any suggestions?

They will give you a name of someone who works within your area. Consolidation may be considered if you have alot of different bills,lower interest,one monthly payment. The counselor can give you more info after they talk with you and give you a free quote. Keep us posted...Karen
