I want to repair my credit

Welcome Janice!I don't know that taking out a loan to help with that, is going to help in the long run. Borrowing more money can only get you in deeper. A credit counselor will contact you soon and explain some options to you,some you may not have thought of. Have you spoken with your original creditors yet? Sometimes when you call and explain your circumstances,and that you are not running from the debt,they will work with you. Some even have programs where they will drop or reduce the interest to help you out. If that doesn't work,consolidating them together with one payment and lower interest might help. Your counselor will discuss income,debt,late or missed pyament,ec.,with you.We are here to guide and support you-keep posting,and look at other posts,to see that you are not alone!...Karen

i want to repair my credit as soon as possible and i payed all my bills all i need is for the the credit companies to show it and they have not done this

The credit companies must follow the rules put in the FCRA. You should actually dispute with the credit companies for not reporting your accounts as paid. Unfortunately, the credit bureaus and the creditors don't change their ways unless it is in their best interests to do so. I know these companies have some stockholders whom they have to report to. If one of their practices is costing them more, they will change their ways that sound unfair. You, as a consumer can push them in the right track by taking legal actions against these companies when you know your rights have been violated. If a certain debt is paid and not reported accurately in your credit file, it causes defamation and financial injury. One of the places where you can put your complaints is at US Court of Appeals. You have the legal rights to fine the company up to the extent of damages. Place the item on dispute with the credit bureau also for a thorough check and your credit report to be updated with correct information.

I am very worried. my divorceed got out of hand my ex husband got arrested twice...and i had to pay the lawyer a huge amount of money in order to protect my kids from getting hurt with my ex. Now, thanks to that, I got behind first in the house, then in the car, then in the credit card, then the bills,,,,and today....i couldn't afford the milk for my kids...please help me...what are my optins ...it seems like i have no idea...the things i do...just get me in more debt...not to mention i have paid about thousands of dollars to wells fargo on overdraft fees....please hlp me

Welcome :D I'm sorry to hear about your problems,but I can assure you you have come to the right place. Since you signed up,a credit counselor will be contacting you. You can explain all of your debts,your income and what you are paying now. They will give you some options to help. Consolidation can reduce interest,plus combining debts and one monthly payment. I didn't quite understand about your husband(EX)? Why did you have to get him out of jail? In the future I would try to put my necessities first,milk,groeries,etc. It's like I told my son,you get yourself in jail,you get yourself out.Doesn't mean I don't love him,just means he better figure out how to do it on his own,because I have enough on my plate financially to help!Good luck to you-keep us posted. :D ...Karen

Oh, no I didn.t get him out of jail. I had to put a protection order because he had a dwi I and 10 days after he had an intoxication manslaughter....not to mention that he was about to pick up the kids. So I was really worried since he also had a drug problem, and I had to pay my lawyer to had my husband under supervised visitations. But, I was never late on payments or anything, but since the divorce I have been strugling, and more with this situations with my ex. I am fighting for sole custudy but this is exhausting all my income. But what can i do.....pay my bills...or make sure my kids are safe? MY ex was even on the news, the newspaper, and besides by that same time one of his peers from rehab....was on the news too because her son ate lcd thinking it was candy, and got intoxicated to the hospital...i am panicking...Thank you so much for you answering me....I really want to make my credit rigth, pay my bills, and try to start all over again. with out bankrupt.

i would look up legal aid in your area,they can help you so you don't have to spend money on attorneys.Of course,you have to protect yourself and your kids.
