Don't let your daughter make the same mistakes that you did in your younger life. Remember, these mistakes will count towards her credit profile in the years to come. If she does not pay her debts in time, it will be reported in the credit file and her scores will go down. She is in her growing stage and should understand the importance of maintaining good credit for the future. Talk to your kids about keeping good credit.
My younger brother is also a bit careless about his credit. Whenever I get a chance to sit with him, we discuss about everything with each other. He talks to me about his debts and I show him the ways to keep the credit clean. Parents, especially those who have gone through the hard way, set good examples in front of their kids so that they learn something valuable from them. Don't wait, set yourself as a good example in front of your kids by talking to them. It's fine if you may not be proficient enough about credit lessons, but you can teach them moral lessons so that they become conscious and take care of everything in a responsible way.
