There is a website Link deleted as per forum rules - Mod which might be of help for anyone with PDL debt. You can also call
1-509-238-****. The person I spoke with was really helpful.

Promoting websites not allowed in the forums. Please read Point #3 in TOS - Mike

If we all could follow these two pointers in regards to PDL then maybe we could put them out of business

Build a $500 emergency fund. Although money may be tight, we all need an emergency savings nest egg for unexpected bills or ups and downs of income and expenses. Start by having a small goal, such as $10 per paycheck. If your check is directly deposited into your bank account, ask your employer to direct deposit a portion to a savings account. To learn how you can become a Saver, visit AmericaSaves.org.

Developing a household budget is a way to keep track of income and expenses and to determine ways to save. Take stock of your income and expenses. Work out a realistic spending and savings plan with your family. Set aside some money every payday for big bills that come due once or twice a year, such as insurance. Plan ahead for budget-busters, such as holiday gifts, birthdays and vacations.

Ashley06,
I is a good idea to put aside some money for things in the future, but before I couldn't do that because these pdls predators had my banking account info and what is in my savings is used for overdraft protection
so if the money wan't in my checking for their debits, it would pull from my savings :( ;but now I'm able to leave money in my account and not worry about them because I closed that account and opened a new one. Now that I'm back in control of my paycheck, I'll be able to put some aside :D

I myself have been trying to get to a point where I could put money aside myself. My mother can't understand why I drain my checking account every week and I tell her it's because we NEED FOOD! i guess that is why I am going back to school and hopefully it will pay off by becoming a system analyst
