Hey, just wanted to know what I can do about allied interstate and a few others harrasing my parents about a debt that I owe. Other than the obvious...calling them and paying what they say I owe assuming that will stop them

Your parents can draft a cease and desist letter to the mailing address of allied interstate. Since they have nothing to do with this debt that you have, the debt collector will have to follow the federal laws after receiving your parents request in writing to cease and desist all communications.

Allied Interstate9 is known for their illegal collection practices. Chances are that they will not follow the fair way as mentioned in the books of law. You will need to file a class action lawsuit against them and get compensated up to the extent of damages. Ask your parents to keep a log file of all the calls from the debt collector with date and time and the name of the caller. This will help in putting the legal case stronger.

when a creditor calls you have the right to tell them under the FAIR DEBT AND COLLECTIONS PRACTICES ACT 15 USC 1692 and the following they are NOT to call you at home or work or any place else they may only contact you by US MAIL.
