Hello everyone,

I was recommended to use Superior debt services for my debt. Unless I am at the wrong web site they appear to be a settlement place. My only concern with that is me piling money into them while they wait for a response from a creditor. Those same creditors are still going to be calling hassling me. How long can this take and will I still be paying my creditor while this is going on? That seems to defeat the purpose.

Also, has anyone used debtwave? Are they the same way? Just looking for the best place to get started with relief and fewer phone calls.

When you have hired the settlement company for your debt accounts, their next move is to notify your creditors with your payment proposals. You will have to be patient till the time your proposal gets accepted with the credit company. During this time, the company should not be making calls to you because they know you hiring a settlement company. If they do, forward it to your settlement company. They will further take care of it.

At this point, you need to decide how you want to go ahead. Do you want to deal with your creditors on your own or do you want to hire a settlement company for sending your proposals. Whatever you decide, be well prepared about the consequences. Chances of positive results are more if your settlement company has dealt with your creditors in the past.
