I need help to get Sonic Cash to stop debiting my account. I have paid them far more than the % rate Arizona allows but they wont stop taking the money!!!
HELP!!!!

Go to your bank and close your checking account. This is the only way adopted by most people here dealing with Sonic. No legal rules work on them because they are out to scam people. Sonic is not licensed in the US. So, if you have money and want to file a class action law suit against them, you have a very fair chance of winning the case because they cannot escape using their fraudulent activities. Sonic is down in the Northern CA. Read this

Hi! I'm in OH also. Expect phone calls and e-mails. And try to make arrangements for your storefront pdls. I'm going to tell you now those internet ones are not licensed in OH. PLEASE go online and file a complaint with the AGs office here! PLEASE!!! They will respond, so far one of my internet pdls marked my account paid in full. The more they see complaints here, and in such a short amount of time something will happen! And how is opening up another account just to pay check in to cash back going to get them paid? They make no sense. You closed your account to take back control of the situation.

You more than likely sign a voluntary wage garnishment if you should default with Sonic. They are also a part of Cash Transfer Center, and I know that I remember that was in mine. You need to fax and e-mail them that you are rescinding the voluntary wage assignment even though it won't hold up, they may try it anyways with your employer.

So far one of my unlicensed internet pdls settled my account as "paid in full" and I'm waiting for responses from my other internet pdls regarding my complaints against them, none of them are licensed. The Ags office contacts them notifies them of the complaint and the internet pdls don't want to be threatened with legal action due to the nature of their illegal business practices.

It will also help draw attention to pdls and the internet ones and if enough people start filing complaints some more stricter laws could be passed and hopefully outlaw them altogether like other states have done. I have been told that they want to see the complaints, they do respond quickly.

Kota, tell your bank that you want to place a statement of unauthorized debit withdraw on your account blocking Sonic completely. Don't do a stop payment because that only stops a particular payment and will cost you $29.00. If that does not work, close your account and open another one at another bank.
