This company has a satisfactory record with the Bureaus because of the number of resolved complaints. Do check them with your state AG's office and with your State Regulator

This might sound dumb what is a dba? I am new to this stuff. Sorry.

DBA means -doing business as-in other words they have several agencies under the same umbrella. And also,even if a company has an ok rating with the BBB,it can mean they have only made good their mistakes,but have not corrected what the main problem is with them. So check them out throughly. The service cost me $995. In the end they did not do any good. Their advice guided me down a path whereby I am losing my home. The communication back to me regarding the status was very poor. I found that had I communicated directly with my mortgage holder, I could have saved my home. Live and learn.

Lewis Loss Mitigation was able to help me save my home. I think the homeowner above was confused because they saved my home.. They dropped the interest rate from an arm that had adjusted to 10.5% to a 30 yr fixed at 5%. I dont know about the lady above but they saved our home. They are fair on their prices because it takes a lot of time to do what they done. I wish everyone luck. Also the person I spoke with is Billie. She was also extremely helpful.

I am working with them now. It is taking a lot longer than expected, however there was a delay do to changes in all foreclosures which caused this. I agree with above that they made us make changes that caused us to tighten our belts, think before we spend, and save as much as possible. They can go right to the top of the ladder with the lenders, where as the average person as to go through a whole front line of people first. I could see where if a homeowner waited until there was no hope, how they may not be able to give you the results you are looking for, because some people wait too long to get help. If you are willing to adjust your budget, cut back on expenses, and save as much as you can...maybe even get a 2nd job, than this should work. The mortgage company has contacted me to let me know they are going to work with us on this, so I am sure there will be a positive outcome.

Yes we have used Lewis and associates. If you have never had a loan modification, they can help you. They helped us to remodify our loan with Bank of America. Our loan payment dropped from $4500 down to $1900.

You should never pay for help like this. Some may get help, but most likely they could have done it without putting out the money. Trust me, we were burned. Contact your mortgage company's mitigation department first. If you are at risk of foreclosure and your are having trouble with your lender, apply for mediation with the court. Try applying for HAMP. Contact your State Department of Banking and your State Housing Finance Authority for advise. There are free programs and counselors available. You can also file for bankruptcy to put a "stay" on your foreclosure. Most importantly leave no stone unturned, don't get scammed, and fight for your home.

By the way they cannot help with lenders that do not do modifications, such as Deustch Bank. This investor doesn't do modifications or participate in HAMP. Find that out before you give a dime!!!! Again, if they can do it for $1000, you can do it yourself for free! Save your money.

In addition the fraud web sites have many stories of people who gave them money and they did nothing to help them.

It is a shame that there exisists in society parasites that prey on the weak and will kick you when you are down. This outfit is just that . A bunch of scam artists that will tell you in your first conversation that they are Christians.
This should be your red flag to hang up and burn the phone number.

Check their testimonials. They ALL use the same bad grammer that is peppered throughout their website.

These guys cant get the grammer right in a simple sentence, and the only thing they can help you with is lightening your wallet and losing your home.
