Are these storefronts or internet, and what state are you in? The internet pdls have to follow the borrowers state pdl laws, many of them do not do this. You do what you have to do. I closed mine, I was dealing with internet pdls. Be prepared for their scare tactics, threatening you with jail, affadavits, wire fraud. Those are just empty threats. You may have to close it so that you can get back control of your finances, make other arrangements with them. If these are internet pdls you may have paid more than the allowable interest rate for your state.

A debt management program will also sound helpful at this stage. Your whole paycheck is going towards interests alone. Consolidation program will allow lower interest rates and the debts will be paid off with ease.
