One time I couldn't get past the spam filter!!! It was crazy, try re-wording it.

My browser has been having trouble with opening links.

Yup, Fin..it was a spam filter. Apparently my "Most embarrassing story" was a little risque'!

Isn't that crazy Liz? When it happened to me the offensive word was "beer". I was trying to explain a molasses/beer rinse that I put on my hair...I couldn't tell the story without using that word! I never did get past that filter....

I <3 beer.

beer won't go past the filter, but the nasty **** spam, and drug spams being posted gets through with no problem. Does anyone else see a problem here?

I've had it with the godforsaken spamming cretins. We may have to become even more strict about posting in the forum, and restrict it to members only. That would keep bashers and people who are not serious out as well.

I hear ya, Ari..Maybe I'm nuts, but I don't think it's quite as bad as it used to be. I remember one time I logged in, and it said 400 new posts...And every single one was spam. Every Friday night we used to get a plethora of drug and **** ads....And cool new ringtones. Maybe it's toned down a bit.

I know exactly where you are coming from. It seems like if we don't get it from one end then we get it from the other. I'm always up for a good fight, though.

That was my point in an earlier thread. The word beer wouldn't go thru on a post, but all the ****, drug and ringtone spam make it thru everytime.

That is upsetting, the spam filter needs adjustment I think.

The spam filter needs a big adjustment to stop all of this. Some of the spam I deleted last night was down right disgusting. The wording was awful. Whomever is posting the****has a nasty, gross mind.

Yeah, it's like they are taking over!! I wonder if they work with Sonic???????? Maybe some of these spammers are from PDL companies--wouldn't put it past them!!

Could be the collection agencies monitoring the forum trying to drive us away.

I hear you Tammy, it's a misnomer to refer to these spammers as people. I've seen what you've seen and it is nothing short of depraved, demented, and sadistic. Even to call them animals would be an insult to our cute little pets. They are monsters.
