Hello. I'm new to this group; stumbled across it on a Google search. I felt I was one of the few that had fell into the payday loan trap. I guess I'm not alone. I have some payday loans I would like to consolidate including CTC. In fact, I am past due on a loan with them and they are threatening to contact my employer and garnish my wages. Is that legal, and is there anything I can do to stop it? Also, does anyone have a link on the Kansas laws regarding pdl's? This site is a godsend. Thank you all for your help.

First of all, you need to immediately revoke the voluntary wage assignment. You can do that by faxing the letter, mailing the letter certified mail with return receipt. Also, give a copy of the wage revocation to your employer. You can checkout polly blog. She has templete letters, and laws for each state.

Thanks for the info. I'm getting the info gathered for the debt consolidation. I do have a pdl that I need help in finding an address. It shows up on my checking account as a debit to AuthPayday with phone number 888-355-6148. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PDL

I'm in the same situation as bible with being in the PDL trap. I live in Michigan and it is actually making it worse for me week by week. Now I have a very hard time paying my regular bills because all my money is taking from PDLs. Any advice would be great.
