As I posted earlier somewhere,Universal Fidelity has got my account passed to them from LVNV,then Resurgent and the Phillips Cowen, none of whom validated. I am sending them a nasty letter, well, not nasty yet. But all I can find on them are a half a dozen addressed. Does anyone know who to send a dv letter, which addy? I need this asap,please.Thanks...Karen :D

Well, this is bizarre-just got a letter in the mail from Universal Fidelity-actually LVNV.It says LVNV purchased this debt from Sears-the same thing they said in Jan. 06,they have the account but placed it with UF ,interest $135.08 monthly. But if I dispute, dispute to Sherman Customer Service P>O. Box 10497 Greenville,SC>29603. This is very interesting since I have sent DV letters to all of the above, except Uf,and none have validated yet, also sent follow up letters. Guess I'll make copies of all the DV letters and add another and send the whole mess to them,!...KAren

Yeah,Tammy, when this whole mess started in Jan. 06,I called Sears. They sold it to LVNV and I began from there with the DV letters. This account was opened in 1982,no charges had been made in 11+ years, and we were stupid, and all these years have been payning payments, probably just interest and other fees.Well, when you make min. payment, are late, these add up. So actually we have been paying only charges all these years! I explained this, they didn't want to hear it,so they have just pased it aroung, without validation!...KAren

Sorry, now I remember reading your posts about this. (Sometimes my brain needs a jump start on things.)I would keep hitting with the debt validation letters. Also, send one to Univeral Fidelity.
