Have you contacted the collectors who are putting negative remarks in your file? Only legitimate info must be available in your file. If they have valid reasons, they should be able to validate your debt. Did you get anything in writing?

I payed equifax on 1-23-08 for a credit report and no report has come in. I want my 10$ back and to talk with someone live. :evil: :evil: :evil:

Yep entering "30" worked for me too. You'll be speaking to an Indian dude before you know it :-)

1-30-09 the 30,30,30 worked!!!!! it took about 9 times. i also got another # that works if you have your credit confirmation number. 1-866-640-2273 good luck, equifax should be reported to the dist. atty for poor and i mean poor customer service.

Oh wow... It took me me over an hour to find a live person!!! Thanks so much for the number. They couldn't really do anything for me anyways. I still have to mail it in. But it was nice to speak to a live person.

They just ask for your SS number. On the phone now.

Just tried the number previously given, and it worked for me.

I have been having trouble proving my identity to Equifax, and the person I talked to "Andy" (though Indian, spoke very well in English) did not hesitate to give me a fax number to send my information in to have my SS# updated in the system- which he said was why I wasn't able to get my report before.

All-in-all, A+, assuming the steps he gave me to do work!
