V C Funding trying to debit from my account

I sent V C Funding a letter today requesting that the ir authorization to debit had been revoked. A lady called me and left me a message saying that they could not honor my request and that the account would still be debited this friday is this correct?

Tldixon, do you have a written contract with VC Funding? What does it say? Does it mention about voluntary 'wage assignment' because of which you are revoking their debit?
If you have signed for it voluntarily, the company must be doing something illegal if they actually debit money from your account. Go through your contract carefully.
