I recieved a summons from Chase for repayemnt of 2500.00. I would like to make payments instead of having to go to court. Do I contact Chase or the attorney who filed the summons. If a summons has been issued is it too late to make payment arrangements?

No it's not too late. Contact the attorney for Chase directly. They are willing to work with you, instead of going to court. My debt was significantly higher than yours and I was able to work out a plan directly with the attorney. Good luck

you have like 90 to object to the arb board but it more than likely won't do any good. i got mine in july and they just turned it over to their attorney's in my state and filed suit. they filed a law suit in my court house and mailed me a warrant in debt with a court date of dec 19th but I'm filing chap 13 bankruptcy which will stop that hearing. Take my word for it, they WILL file this arb award with your local court house. When they get the judgement and they most likely will, yes they can place a lien or garnish wages.
