I have 2 credit cards that are maxed out and a home equity loan to pay. I lost my house about 9 mths ago. I am having alot of problems getting this bills paid. Maybe I need to consolidate. Not sure what to do.

Consolidation will be the right pick for you at this stage. The monthly repayments will be set according to your present financial situation. Presently, you are unable to save some money because of the high interest rates charged by your creditors. You will be able to have lower interest rates in the consolidation program. Combine all your bills under one repayment plan and use the portion that you will save towards your home equity loan. This move should help you.
