As I posted earlier, GR did not abide by the arragement that was made (my mistake for not getting it in writing), and debited by account twice for payments.

Thanks to information I have seen hear, I decided I am going to try and fight them to get all my money back.

I had a $ 300 loan, they told me I had to pay back $ 480 (300 and finance charges). I agreed and here we are.

I called them today and said I wanted all of my money($ 480) returned to me as PDLs we illegal in the state of Maryland and I have more than paid back the balance with the finance charges. As records, I have pulled old bank statements showing that I have actually overpaid the principle (but I'm not going to argue over that).

Has anyone ever had success with this?

They credited back one payment of $ 160 this morning, the second will be done this afternoon, and I asked about the first payment...he is checking on that one...

If they don't, I'm disputing the charge with my bank as it was on my debit card. I will get a new card, as they never had my checking account info (and the info they did have, the account was closed).

We'll see what happens.

These Geneva Roth or how ever you spell it withdrew $100 from my bank account. I don't know why. I haven't had a payday loan with them, but I have no way to call them. Does anyone know their number? I am going to have to close my bank acount so they will quit taking my money... which is a huge hassel. I don't have a lot of money, so $100 to me is a lot. I was lucky the money was in there, and that I didn't go negative and bounce checks. I have a great bank, which stopped payment on this for me, but they used a different ach number to try to withdrawal again. My bank refused it knowing I am disputing it, but how do I get my money back??????
