Is the contact info for T & C a secret? I have been trying for a while to get it with every kind of email address I own and I can't get any one to reply with the info. I'm running out of email addresses. And yes I'm registered over and over. The response I have gotten is a referral to credit counseling of America and like every one else waiting on Hess & Kennedy, today my bank account and I are in a worse fix. I wanted help immediately so I authorized a bank draft for the fee immediately. But they were so slow, the NSF fees took even their fee. I just need the info for T & C so I can see if they can even help me with my payday loan situation. Is this a help forum or what?

The phone number of T&C is not a deep secret. It's not given out because many people in the past took the phone number from here and never came back to tell what happened with them. See this link. You will also realize it.

This doesn't look nice when someone helps a person and never hears back from him/her. People took the number and never showed back.

Thank you so much. I don't know how to earn 5000 points. I have three emails registered with this forum. I did that because I couldn't get back in. My password kept being rejected and then when I tried to obtain more information, it kept telling me that my email address was already being used. So, I registered mjdavis777, and mjdavis, and marytrue. But, I am sorry everyone else has to suffer the consequences for other folks' past inconsiderations. I live in Mississippi and you guys provided me with some good information about Mississippi's law regarding payday loans. All of the payday loan companies I use are store fronts. I didn't intend to get caught up like this. There was a time when they were quite manageable, I was able to pay them off at some point. Then my car quit in July, 2005, and after calling all over the city trying to find a mechanic to just look at it with no luck, I ended up having to rent a car. That got pretty costly so I finally decided I needed to try to purchase a car. My credit was so messed up, until the only places that would finance a car for me (a used car) was one of the high interest rate, substantial downpayment type car lots. But I got someone to give me a chance so I did what I could to make it happen. The only dependable income I had was from my paycheck and I was already living from paycheck to paycheck as it was. So I applied to as many payday loan companies as I could in order to get the downpayment. Then I had to go to another one to pay for the insurance and yet another one to purchase a tag ($382). I thought I could pay them off by the first of the year with my income tax refund. That didn't happen. Shortly after I got the car in August, Katrina hit and my husband was laid off work for a few weeks. What else to expect? So much stuff was damaged until they couldn't even get to the job site. So with utilities being cut off, I went to another payday loan company. Before I knew it, I was up to nine. That's ridiculous huh? But I was faithful. I spent my entire lunch break every payday running all over town paying on my payday loans. Imagine my dilemna when I had to be out of town on payday. Then I had to rush off the plane before 5 or 6 o'clock to get to the payday loan stores to pay on my checks. Here in Mississippi we are required to pay the entire amount including check plus fee before we can rewrite. So I had to have enough money to start out with in order to pay on all of them. One day I sat down and typed up a "pay off your payday loans" budget. I was so wrapped up in it; this plan had to work. It looked good too, on paper. Then my son got arrested in June, 2006, and I had to bail him out of jail on a crap charge for choosing the wrong kinds of friends, and the next thing I know my house note is three months behind and the mortgage company is sending me certified letters threatening to foreclose. So I had to make a choice, lose my house or pay the fees on nine payday loans (those fees came to over $600 biweekly). I chose trying to save the house. But when I failed to show up to pay on the loans, the companies started running their checks through my account until I could never have enough money in the bank to make a full house payment. Finally I decided to send my money to another account so that I could at least pay one house note. It took some doing, but I was finally able to work out something with the mortgage company. However, I am now having to try to work out something with my car note because the money that I allowed to go into my bank account to cover it is still being taken out due to NSF charges. That's "a whole nother story". I know this is long, but I'm off work right now recovering from surgery. The stress got to be so bad until it literally affected my health and I ended up having to have emergency surgery. I want to pay these payday loans. Truly I do. It's hard to do with $400 plus light bills and high water bills and high gas prices. I just need to see if I can get something worked out where I can pay them off maybe one per payday. I'm being sued, I'm receiving phone calls constantly. It's hard to heal under these stressful circumstances. If it gets to my job I become a security risk, so I've got to handle this right away. I appreciate any advise/help I can get. I've read some of the success stories. I even have letters typed to send out the the payday loan companies. But I want to give them trustworthy information, so I wanted to find this T&C company to maybe get into their program. I tried two other companies, one of which was Credit Care of America. I did a bank draft so they could get started right away. I'm thinking this is on the way to being resolved, but the payday loan companies are still calling me at work, having me paged, calling my cellphone, calling my house. A week later, CCOA has not even sent out the contract; they asked me what was it I was trying to do, get started as soon as possible". Duh... But even after I faxed them the completed contract back, they still did move to contact my creditors. And so even their fee got caught up in the NSF bank overdraft. They didn't do anything. Still haven't done anything. I just need a little, no, a lot of help. Can someone hear me out there? Will someone help me?

Oh God. Another "sorry this user name has already been taken" reply. I've got to register another user name to post this reply...

I am so sorry for all the problems you are having. First off,pm Mike and see if he can get your account on your e-mail thing straightened out. Second, the consolidation company you are using, you said you returned the contract, right? Are you then still bound to them by that contract? The reason I am asking is,you were wanting the info for T &C. I do know it does take a little while to get the paperwork and contracts to the creditors going, don't think any of them can do a really quick fix. I would call, over and over, to your consolidation company and talk to them about time, when can you expect them to do offers, etc. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask...KAren

I know. Each time I have registered I have gotten the response that a counselor from Credit Care of America will be contacting me. The last voice mail I got was prior to my going into the hospital. They said they had gotten my papers that I faxed to them. Nothing more. THey did tell me previously that they were working with Hess & Kennedy. But I saw several posts where Hess & Kennedy were sending monies back for various reasons. Some type of misunderstanding that they had to train their employees on. I don't know, but all the complaints I read were the same as the complaints I have.

I too mjdavis777 have been through the same he_ _ as you, and I have lost about everything before I came to this website. I have yet to be contacted back from the credit counselors here, I was told they cannot help with payday loans. So I do not know if T & C will help, maybe one of the members here can privately email both of us the information. I could use it too.
