First, are these internet or storefront pdls? Or both? What state are you in? And what pdl companies are you dealing with? And how many do you have? Don't be embarassed we have all been in your situation and believe me nobody will be surprised at how many pdls you have out. You have come to the right place to get help.

Thank you for helping me.. They are all internet. I am in Florida. AS far as the companies for the payday loans there were so many. I had to close two bank accounts. What direction should I take?

First you need to file a complaint against each of these internet pdls with your state AG's office. Then you need to use the template letters on this site inserting FL pdl laws in them and add at the end that you have filed a formal complaint with the FL Ag's office. How long have you been paying on them? If it's been awhile then you should demand in the letters that they mark your account paid in full, and if it hasn't been that long, then you need to deduct the amount of illegal interest/roll over fees they have charged you and take that out of the principal borrowed and demand that they settle the account for what you legally owe on the loan. Are you able to open a new account at another bank? If so I would do this before it is too late. And do not give that info. out to anyone. Expect the internet pdls to threaten you with criminal charges such as fraud, etc...you didn't commit a crime and they know it they are just using this illegal threat to scare you into paying them outrageious amounts of money you do not owe. And if you still legally owe on some of them have you considered consolidating them, there are companies that will do pdl consolidation.
I am to the point i will have to claim bankrupcy it is so bad.

Because of the pdls or all debt combined? How many internet pdls do you have? You can get through this mess by knocking them out one by one, and fighting them, alot of us have had success in getting our pdls marked paid in full. I would hate to see somebody file bankruptcy because of pdls.

If you can look back over old bank records, that can be a good start in trying to find the companies you owe money too. If you can remember anything close to the names of the PDLs, someone here is sure to recognize who you're talking about and be able to provide the contact information. And Steelers1 is right- you have options. You can try to get some of them marked paid in full; you present your state's laws to some of them and just pay back the principal amount you've borrowed instead of being charged all those interest fees; if you still have more debt to cover than your income will allow, there are debt consolidation companies that will work with PDLs. Keep us posted, and let us know what we can do to get you started on the right track; and once you're on the right track, the people here will stay with you from start to finish and help you get through this.
