Yes, it really does feel GREAT. My paycheck will be direct deposited in my new checking account and there will be enough in there to cover my bills.
I know those of you that have gotten out from under these loans know how I feel tonight. I know it's a cliche but I sincerely feel that burden lifting off my shoulders.
Finding this site is a blessing that I intend to share with others. I don't have the knowledge you all have, but if I stick around and read all the help that is offered, I hope I can make some one else feel the relief I do right now.

Use the template letter on this site, insert your state's pdl laws in it. And if you have paid back more than your state legally allows (ex: you have paid $875 on a loan that was $300, you have paid back the principal and more interest than the law allows and they say you still owe them money) in this case you demand they mark your account paid in full. But if you have paid a few roll over fees then deduct what you have paid from your principal and demand that this all you are legally obligated to pay back. And don't back down, at first they will want to argue that you signed a contract agreeing to their state laws, that won't hold up and I can guarantee you that their state won't back them up either they won't want nothing to do with the situation. And majority of these internet pdls are not licensed to lend in majority of the states. You also need to file a complaint with your state's AG office because they are not licensed to lend in your state, and add that you have filed a formal complaint with your state's ag office at the end of the letter. Stand up to them and don't back down, even when they give the false threat of arrest, you won't be arrested, you did not commit a crime.

Ok, I greatly appreciate this information. What templat letter did you use and where can I find it? Plus the roll over fees I have paid I can ask them to apply that to the principal. i live in the state of al and I believe I read that they are only allowed one roll over so anything that one rollover should go to principal correct?

Hi arj800.
I've only been here a few days and I've paid close attention and taken excellent advice. As You read above, I've already gotten 1 pdl loan marked paid in full with a refund. I know refunds don't always come but with this site I believe we all have a better chance of of a better chance of sleeping better, Trust these people. You're going to be in better shape soon.

arj800- AL does only allow one rollover, but that's for lenders with a license in AL. I've had some experience with the lenders you used (I believe 2 of them were FSM processing and FTR) and I am only paying back literally the exact amount I borrowed. I let them know when I sent them a letter that they were charging almost 2 and a half times in excess of the interest caps set by Texas, and that I would not be paying any more of the interest fees, period. If your rollover charges are $50, and you've already paid that $50 3 times on a $200 loan, then all they can expect to get from you is that remaining $50.

I am trying to get my letters together and from what I am reading it looks as though in AL a payday loan lender is only entitled to roll over a loan one time so all the times that FSM and FTR and all the other ones rolled over the loan more than once then if I am correct all those extra fees should go to my priniciple.

arj800- *everything* you've paid so far counts towards your original loan amount since neither of those companies are licensed in AL, and they're both internet lenders.
