Update on My Payday Loans
Date: Wed, 10/11/2006 - 19:48
Ten Dollar Payday Loan: I have not heard anything else from them.
Cashnetusa: Calls everyday and sends letter asking to make payment arrangements. Also they will only accept $25 per month from T&C.
United Cash Loans: No phone calls or letters.
Cash Central: Sends emails requesting phone calls from me and inform me that I am extremely passed due.
One Step Cash: No phone calls or letters.
I am sending T&C $60 per week and more this week. I am really enjoying the fact that I don't have this burden on me like I had for almost a year. I can breathe and actually sleep at night. Thank you all for your help for leading me in the right direction. I don't know what I could have done without you.

Alexandra,
Glad to hear the update. When you get the harassing phone calls, let T & C know and they will contact them on your behalf. You shouldn't have to talk to them at all at this stage.
That is really great news Alexandra, I am happy for you!

I have worked out a payment plan with Cash Central. I was able to split my balance up into 4 payments. They have been very cooperative and pleasant to deal with. Cash Transfers kept calling me at work and threatening to initiate legal proceedings with my employer by a certain date. I didn't buckle to their threats because I've been charged way more interest than my state allows and I haven't heard from them since. I sent settlement letters to GFS and ICS to show me paid in full. I haven't heard back from them.

I would sure like to know how it is you people are getting arrangements made. I can only seem to get the guys who only want all at once.

Alexandra, it's nice to hear something that relieves people from the payday loan mess. Don't forget to get the latest status from T&C. If the lenders are not calling you, I assume your consolidation company has sent them the proposals and is on the stage of negotiations. Be in constant touch with the counselor so that nothing gets missed in between.
