SOOOOO after them first telling me too bad we do not have to follow Arizona laws you still have to pay us.
Today I got this email

Quote:
RE: Final Offer

Ms. Bedoy,

We have received and reviewed your repeated correspondence regarding your non-acceptance of our offer and your request for a refund that you feel is due. We are not of the same opinion, therefore no refund will be offered at any time. We have instead written off your $260.00 balance due on your most recent loan and closed your account. No further collection efforts will be made.

This is the final offer that we are willing to make. We will not respond to any further correspondence received from you.

Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.

Respectfully,

Compliance Department

LOL yeah right they need to give me a refund!!!! I over paid them by at least $1200.00 I'm going to keep sending my refund requests to them and I'll also see what the BBB does and the Attoerney General's office here!!! The good thin is I have it in writing and they cant take it back!!! " We will not respond to any further correspondence received from you." Well I'm going to keep emailing and faxing them till they give up and give me a refund!!!!

And how some right away like payday ok and payday select dont argue just say ok account closed and I even still owed payday select and told them I would pay remaining balance they sent email stating
We closed your loan 10/5/06. You are no longer obligated to PayDay Select.
I guess they still have 1,000 of suckers each day who dont know better and just pay

I have tried to get them to mark my 2 PDLs paid in full. I have paid the principal and more. They stated that they would not. Whenever I try to email them, it comes back undeliverable. What is the email address that you have?

Hi, I have a few payday loans, all online, and I realize I am in way over my head. I was planning on closing my checking acct but am scared that I could face criminal/fraud charges. All together my loans total 1400. Any advice? Does writing them that you revoke their authority to debit the acct really work?

Kimp--

It's worked for many people here. If you close your account you WILL NOT face criminal/fraud charges. That's a load of crap. Closing it will put you in control. I recommend doing BOTH closing your account and revoking authorization. Offer a payment plan to the PDL's, customized with your state's laws regarding payday loans. Some of them may argue with you, but be persistant. Which companies are your loans through?

I agree with Jess on this one. When I entered into debt consolidation with T &C last winter, they recommended that I closed my bank account and open a new one. I'm glad that I did because they kept trying to hit my old bank account after they knew it was closed. I had informed my lenders of this and that I had entered into debt consolidation. They will also try to sneak in different amounts so it's hard to do stop payments. You can block their id codes as well but this can be costly to you.
