I owe under seven grand to the world, but to me that's the same as owing 50 grand.
NCO, has taken over my capital One, in the beginning I wrote them and explained, never heard back, I think, it's beens two years since I made a payment on any of my debts. I no longer know who owns what. However I was told, chances of creditors actually suing is 50/50, because they see I have a past BK, they also see that I have paid no one, havne't applied for credit, any opinions on this? They can see that I have no money, in fact, I may attempt BK again, there is no way I can make good on any of these accounts, actually, at this point, I'm angry that an original creditor does not have to follow the same laws (lying) as a collector.
Is there a time frame companies usually operate under, ball park idea. I had no idea NCO took over my capital one.

I'm not sure on the time frame of how companies operate, but you said you may attempt BK again; you'll have to wait seven years which will be 2008.

If you filed under Chapter 7 in 2001, you should still be able to do a Chapter 13 today. The waiting period only applies to consecutive chapter 7's, unless there is something in the October 2005 revisions I'm not aware of. Have you tried talking to a debt settlement company or law firm? My firm only handles payday loan settlements, but I can refer you to someone I trust that handles conventional debt, if you like.

I stopped paying my credit cards in 2005 and here it is a year later and none have sued me as of yet.
SURE, they all threaten that, but the majority have no intention because it would be more costly to go to court....
Good luck.

Don't fool yourself into beleiving that you will never hear about these debts again. Trust me, you will hear. 2005 is just last year You should prepare yourself to be in collections and yes possibly court by an outside collection agency Sorry Linda, your going to have to take off those rose colored glasses Good luck to you. You're going to need it.
