I am looking to consolidate about $13,000 in high interest credit cards, and suggestions which method would be best?? I looked into a Home Equity Line of Choice, but they said I did not qualify

Ok, the different debt management programs are listed here

You can talk with a consultant and figure out the suitable program for you. debt consolidation program will be a good choice. You will pay the principal amount. The interest rates will be lowered down and most of the fees will be waived off. Your total debt amount will shrink down after enrolling in the plan.

You can also check for a debt settlement plan. This program will actually reduce the total debt to half. The settlement company will negotiate with your credit companies for a 'settlement' on your account. Take the free credit counseling and know about your options. Then you can decide from there.
