You should defiantly talk to your bank, it's possible they won't close your account until the balance is positive. You need to send a letter by certified mail, fax and email to Rio Resources that you are revoking authorization for them to make any further debits from your account. Once you do that, you will need to talk them about payment arrangements that don't involve them debiting your account. If you have to close your account defiantly make sure you communicate with all your loans.

Have you checked if Rio Resources is licensed for doing business in your state? Every loan company needs a valid license in the state where they are lending money to borrowers. Besides, you should also check for the legal charges and fees in your state. Do a thorough review of payments in your bank statements and figure out how much has been paid by now on the account. If you do close your account don't give Rio your new account info, they will just start the process over. They actually asked me for a friends checking account number when I refused to give them my new one, luckily I had been here and heard about how unscrupoulois they are. Make them give you a mailing address and mail a money order. No western union or money gram.

I have turned this company in to the FBI in Tulsa, The Internet Crime Complaint Center, Better Business Burea, and the Attorney General's in my state and Oklahoma.
